"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mine was listed under My Tickets & Passes in MDE but not in Future Plans. It said it had already been linked too even though I didn’t link it.
My 8/29 AP discount ticket is under Tickets & Passes. tbh I don't remember ever seeing party tickets in Future Plans.

Ok…we now have MNSSHP tix for Sunday Sep 14. This will be day 3 of a 7 day stay. Staying at Beach Club. We have never been to MNSSHP.
What is..or is there.. a strategy for doing MNSSHP?
— Best time to arrive?
— Must do things?
— Must do eats?
— Park strategy?
— Buses Ok to/from BC ?
— other ?

Any wise Dis members with experience and counsel ?

TIA

Typically on the day of a party we're going to, we do a pool day at the resort and have a very late TS lunch/early dinner and then head over. That way we are not using up precious party time eating a lot, and if we get peckish later on we can try the party exclusive snacks. Last year we did 'Ohana before the party since we were staying at the GF but in the past we've also done Kona and GF Cafe. Since I am solo at the Contemporary this year I will probably do Steakhouse 71 Lounge and then walk over.

You can get in at 4p on a party ticket but tbqh now that it's being heavily advertised by Disney the lines to get in are obscene around then, people start lining up like an hour before to get in at 4. With a trip as long as yours I'm assuming you will have other MK time so no need for you to do that. I would aim for like 5, shouldn't be a problem then.

Strategy wise there is so much to see and do at the party that you really can't do everything in one night. So it's best to focus on priorities. Again with additional MK time in your trip I would focus on the party exclusive stuff instead of trying to get on rides. I really only do the ones with overlays at the party. Parade, stage show and fireworks are not to be missed. Characters will eat up your whole night if you let them; wait towards the end imo for Jack & Sally if they're a priority but don't wait TOO late because they cut off the line about an hour before the end. Save trick or treating for the end of the night because there's virtually no lines and CMs practically shovel candy at you because they're trying to get rid of it all.

Re: entertainment as well, if the Rusty Cutlass is back this year absolutely do not miss them, they're a pirate-themed band that plays the stage in Adventureland where Jack Sparrow meets during the day and people always miss them because that side of the park is pretty dead during the party. But they're one of my fave bits of live entertainment at the parks period. They do several sets until near the end of the night.

Getting home to Crescent Lake isn't awful but as PP said don't count on a Minnie Van.

Got my tickets! A little data in case anyone is curious - we had one member of our party get very sick last year so we couldn't attend the 10/14 party. Disney was kind enough to let us use the value of that night's MNSSHP for a future party. I called today and made the swap after about 10 minutes on hold. Last year's 10/14 party ticket was $30 less than this year's 10/24 ticket. Paid the amount owed and the new tickets were in My Disney Experience within two hours. :)

Which of the two water parks is usually down for refurbishment (if either) in late October? My daughter and I are going to the MNSSHP on our first night (10/28) and we are taking advantage of the free water park on the first day of the trip. We figured a half day at the water park, a nap then head over to the MK for the party that night.

We are doing the same, but others have pointed out room might not be ready during the desired nap time.

Just bought ticket for 9/7. I was afraid to wait since the lower price nights might sell out sooner. Just wondering if I want to buy a second night. The last 2 years our parties have been rainy messes…one night I did get a refund automatically the next day but the 2nd we went and on,y stayed an hour just too miserable but no refund. The parties were all sold out so could not change to another night.

Going by last year, it was Typhoon Lagoon that was open in October. Hoping for the same this year, as our family wants to check it out. Blizzard Beach has only ever been the one open for us during spring break when we normally go.

Got our tickets for the 31st Oct yesterday morning 🎉

Going Howl-O-Scream on the 27th and hopefully HHN with the RIP tour on the 29th. It’s going to be a crazy busy week as we’re flying over from the UK on the 26th and don’t have much time to fit all of the Halloween stuff we want to do in.

PLEASE READ:

Now that we have a Sold Out party we need to post our annual reminder:

Disney MNSSHP tickets are non-transferable.

IMG_7086.jpeg

A sold out party is a sold out party except for very, very rare instances where more tickets become available through the Disney website. (Occasionally this happens in extreme circumstances when something like a hurricane is brewing so many guests are cancelling their party tickets.)

ADVERTISING TO SELL OR PURCHASE TICKETS IS NOT PERMITTED ON DISBOARDS. Any such posts will be deleted and warning points may be awarded.

Also, as is often asked, if party tickets are sold out on the Disney website/app, they are also sold out when phoning Disney and through third-party vendors.

If you are unable to attend a party to which you have purchased tickets, please contact Disney to make alternate arrangements. Historically they allow guests to retain those funds in their Disney account to use towards a future hard-ticket event.

Thank you!

Hey Halloween friends! Just in a celebratory mood today. While I refer to my guy as my husband, we weren't actually married. Until today!!!
We met at 22 and today at 51 we finally decided, eh, you'll do..😂

Got married at the courthouse with my brother and parents there and having big party on Sunday!

Just feeling happy and wanted to share!

So now at the party we won't just aliens, we will be married aliens! 😃 (this trip will be our "honeymoon")
