"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This is a lot of great information but I want to confirm one thing. I can enter the party with just a ticket to the party. I don't need a party ticket AND theme park admission ticket. Right?

We have 3 day tickets for mid October and are planning to hit all 4 parks by using one day in AK, EP and HS then MK via party ticket.

Correct. You may enter the MK with only a party ticket starting around 4PM on the day of your party. You do not need a park ticket for the MK to enter at 4PM or later.

After our horrible experience last year (torrential rain, like past my ankles) I swore we'd never do a party again in August during the rainy season. And agree, I've been telling myself the same thing as you!
Argh, I’ve been 5 different years, maybe 7 parties total, and all but 1, it poured. Last year was so ridiculous that our candy hauls got soaked. I am considering another attempt, but I may just wait for xmas!

Unfortunately MVMCP can be just as bad (there were a few washouts over the past couple of years)

We went to the Pirate & Princess party back in the day during a deluge. We would not have gone, except we bought tickets in advance. It turned out to be a ton of fun. Those were never very popular in the first place, but it was D E A D dead. We had the run of the place. I would not do that intentionally again, but the rainouts can still be fun.

I have been on like 5 different sites non stop looking lol. Praying Aug 8 is the first one!!
This was me until I read about the first one being busier with bloggers and such. I’m starting to change my mind towards the second one.

Is that a reasonable concern?

I would think the number of guests is the same since they all sell out. The difference might be that the bloggers will try to get prime spots for getting footage of the parades, shows, fireworks. They don't mind waiting for hours so they might just be a bit in the way, but I can't imagine it would impact your visit so much unless you have to see the parade coming directly toward you from Town Square or something like that. However, I haven't been to the first night to know for sure, I just wouldn't skip it only based on the bloggers

Thank you. I use an ECV, so I view the parade from the designated HA space. I think I will not be deterred from trying the first party. Now, just hoping for August 8!

While chat on the boards is that it is busier with bloggers, I have never heard of a single first hand response to this question.

Question: Have you ever personally been at the first MNSSHP or MVMCP and found that bloggers/vloggers impacted your party, either negatively or positively? (Only looking for first hand experiences, not the experiences you've heard about. Thanks.)

I've been to the first Xmas party of the season before and tbh I didn't really notice them. Granted that was a while ago, and there's more of them now, but it felt like any other party to me. The worst part of the night was that it was a wash out so we had the rainy day cavalcade instead of the parade.

I didn't go, but I think we can safely say the first ever Jollywood Nights was a mess and part of that was due to vloggers. So many were ordering every single item for food to review, the line back ups were huge. Then of course they trashed the party in their reviews. Disney did make some changes and every party after was well reviewed.

So I think there is truth to vloggers kind of ruining the experience. But the Halloween Party isn't new, so I don't think would be an issue like it was at Jollywood Nights.
