Official 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend!

Here's an idea that is outside the parks, but still "on property" ....How about in front of the Giant blue Mickey Sorcerer hat at the DL hotel ?? I bet you could also find something at the DL hotel. I know in front there's a Mickey statue. Hope this helps.

That definitely helps, thank you! I've never been to Disneyland before, so I have no idea what's there.

Courtesy of our very own @roxymama...get to know the Disney fairies! :rotfl2:

1000 pixie points to anyone who can explain to me what a "Dust-Keeper Fairy" is! :tinker:

The guide was helpful. Now I'll know who the characters are on the course.

Not dressing up as a fairy though. Can't do the wings - would rather be a Disney princess. ;)

@ZellyB I love your gif!!

TICKET QUESTION!
I saw a rumor on the main DL thread that price increases for this year may happen this Sunday. It's just a rumor. That being said...how do you DL (non-AP) vets purchase your tickets? Straight through the DL website or do you have another method to save a little. I'm not opposed to going through the DL website, but I like to save some $ if it's easy and I don't have to jump through a lot of hoops. Thinking I may be biting the bullet and making my ticket purchase this week just in case.

We're AP'er but I know of "non AP'ers" that RUSH to the Disney Store, Costco, Safeway/Vons to get the "gift card tickets" when there is a price increase. In the past they were still valid for a time. Check if the rD site has any discount for tickets this year.

The best I have found is Ares Travel (link is on Mousesavers) - you can buy a Hopper and get a day free (I.e. Buy 4 days and get day 5 free).

We just recently bought our Disneyland tickets from LMTClub (Last Minute Travel Club). We got 3-day park hopper tickets for $263.82 vs the regular price direct from Disneyland of $295. We bought them online and received the e-tickets via email the next day. The tickets were good for use until the end of the year. We took them straight to the turnstiles at the park (i.e. we did not have to go to the ticket booth first). There is a fee to join LMTClub but there are lots of promo codes available online to get a year of memerbship for free (which is what we did). Hope this helps - I thought it was a great deal and would definitely use them again.

We did LMTClub tickets on our last trip over MLK for Star Wars 1/2 as well. My experience was as r2d2r_runner above--really easy. The even better part was that we decided to upgrade to annual passes when we were there, and they gave us the full gate price of our tickets toward the upgrade, saving quite a bit of money for 4 people when coupled with our DVC $20 discount.

I have ordered park tickets through Get Travel in the past. Easy, a little savings, and they are at the Expo.

I did LMT for our 5-day park hoppers. Best price around, they emailed them to me pretty quickly, and then we just took them to the turnstiles when we got there (I printed them out - some people just show the bar code from their phone and that works too). Another recommendation for LMT!

Light blue, navy blue, sky blue, Tiffany blue? I must know! When do they give us sneaky peaks?

And where are my medals?

I want it now!!!

Oh boy, I haven't even figured out everything I'm going to need to buy at PHM weekend, and now there are going to be two colors of Dooneys for Tink. I'm in trouble!
