Same for us. We are going regardless, but i'm afraid i'll have to knock it down from 9 nights to 6/7 if we cannot get FD. $1,400 (the cost of the reg. DP) is a big chunk for us!

Since I'm great at procrastinating, I just did the math on a few options for our trip this year. I was able to book CBR with the GC incentive and that seems to be our best option besides staying offsite. My husband will probably let me choose what to do regardless of getting FD or not. We were thinking of also staying at Universal Hard Rock, but I'm willing to stay offsite there (it was his idea to stay onsite in the first place) to save some money (and then probably end up spending it WDW ). Aggg. This is so hard. I guess I'll try to modify for FD and see what we decide about Universal. I really want to stay onsite at WDW again because I really liked that he got a break from all the driving (and I got a break from navigating--I'm known by my kids as Ms. Directions or Miss Directions because I still miss getting us to the right place sometimes even with GPS). I probably don't even have to be up right now as I will probably call (rather than do it online) to modify my ressie because I want to make sure we still get the GC. I really need to switch my circadian rhythm and become an Early Bird instead of a Night Owl.
