Yes, you get an email. Last year, my email arrived at about 6am the day free dining dropped.

Thanks for clarifying that. The start date in December makes a lot of sense vs 12/03.

I copy and pasted their dates as it was, it didn't crossed my mind it might confound English speakers as I'm so used to figure out which date type is being used. Sorry!

The viajero magico twitter says he doesn't have it confirmed but he believes the first August week...8/13 is for agencies only. Once again I really believe start date 8/21 and 8/13 for visa because of this link that was only exposed for a few hours.

Sometimes. This isn't being done very easily in the parks anymore. Resorts having better success. It's a YMWV sort of thing now.
