Sorry in advance because I know this has been answered but I can't for the life of me find it...if I already have a ressie for CBR with GCs booked but want to change our dates, am I likely to lose the GCs?

That's something I wouldn't mess around with online. I don't think you'd lose your GC's if you spoke to someone, cause you're still eligible.

Funny. I just popped in here in a panic because the resort I have booked and my 2 back up resorts both show no availability all of a sudden...and they are deluxes and here was plenty before. The site is really glitchy right now. I was thinking tons of people have booked in anticipation of free dining and booked up all the resorts for my dates. Should be interesting to see

Can you make the changes online, keeping the same reservation number? If you have to book a new reservation, I'm afraid you will lose your GCs.

You can try, Thisf you've made these reservations over the phone, I don't believe you'll be able to modify online. No worries if you can't. I would just make new reservations online if you can. Do your reservation first, then make a second reservation for your son. Are both reservations under your MDE? Or does your son have a second account?

Both resevations are linked to my MDE as he doesnt have an account. This is a gift to them and I am doing all the planning and paying. If I make new reservations then I would need to pay another $400 ($200 eac) correct?

I do have the change reservation option, just wasn't sure if changing my dates would make us ineligible since the ressie had to be booked a month or so ago. I'll just call tomorrow and see.

I loved this, however it said it was held for 10 mins?

I think it holds the reservation for 10 min until you click the final purchase button. Gives you a chance to make any other changes (DME info, upgrade to DDP, etc). Though the second I can grab the offer I'm clicking purchase. I can add on any optional things later and I wouldn't want Stitch to eat the page!

Yes. That's right.

You can wait and try to phone, but I personally don't have the luck (or patience) for that.

Nope, it can be the exact same. I currently have a booking for POR for me and my sister as well as one for AKL for both of us (please don't hate on me, one will be cancelled sooner rather than later). Although the POR is a full package and the AKL is room only, so I don't know if adding tickets would mess it up.

Any change to your dining plan must be made at least 48 hours in advance. It doesn't matter that you already have it.

Question for CBR bookings with the gift cards.

Is anyone going to risk modifying their reservation online to add free dining, or will you wait to call in to make sure you don't lose the gift cards? Although all indications point to being able to double dip as the gift cards are compensation rather than an "offer", I'd hate to muck up my booking and somehow lose them!

Just catching up... but I'm booked with gc at CBR and I plan on waiting! And I actually may even wait a week or so to even call (gasp)!!!! I feel like if the rumor that mods only get qs then there will be lots of people jumping ship! I'm going regardless so this is just my plan!
