Biergarden is nice because of the long tables, you can all be seated together. Also Ohana for seating mostly together
Boma was nice for a large group. I think we had 10 and all were able to sit at the same table. Also did California Grill and Chrystal Palace. Have a adr for Be Our Guest for this trip for 13 not sure how that will be.

Off topic, but I'm so happy! DH just won $800 on a scratch off! We've paid off our entire trip with winnings. He won $8,000 on the pick 4 lotto in September which we put toward our package, leaving about $1000 balance, which is now down to $200! YAY! I've got this $ in the online disney account, because I didn't want to pay until I got our FD package, so I think I can buy GC with any extra left over after FD savings, which we'll use for spending money. Thank God my hubby is lucky!

I understand FD isn't a given and shouldn't be counted on (we're going no matter what and are booked with flight, hotel, PH, and all ADRs) but wondering why people are thinking it wont be offered this yr?? If Disney just sent me a 30% off my stay for the entire summer (which should be one of their busiest times) why wouldn't they offer a promotion for sept when attendance is at its lowest? Just curious on people's thoughts on this.:grouphug:

I think it will be offered, maybe more restrictive though. I've read that summer is slowly becoming less crowded and fall is becoming more crowded, maybe due to food and wine, hence the BB summer dates. I don't think they'll abruptly stop FD, because it would cause a huge backlash. I think they'll slowly make it more and more restrictive until they phase it out.

I'm not going to pass up anymore FD BB offers anymore. We typically say we're not sure or maybe we'll go somewhere else but for the last 6 years it's been at least once a year. If there is a FD BB that is remotely in the time frame we would like to travel it will be booked!!!!!

We had a problem in past years spending snack credits, so we went to the gift shop and got little bags of Mickey chocolates and disney pez despensers with the extra credits

We found out last year that if you have QS meals left it equates to 3 snacks per meal as well. Did not know that before, but thought I would share. We came home with snack gifts for family. Worked out nice.

This is exactly my thinking. I honestly can't see them just canceling the deal all together, especially not when it's offered in other countries and BB this year already. I imagine that the deal has done what they hoped and gotten people to travel in the fall. Now that fall travel is becoming more of a trend they probably won't need to continue the deal forever, but I assume they'll just cut back on deal availability until we stop relying on it.

If you are at WDW during Food & Wine, food at the booths over $6 are a great use of your snack credits. I had an extra QS available and the Canada Booth broke it down into 3 snack credits & all used for the filet mignon. Yum. Happy camper. :thumbsup2

We did that on one of our visits. I think we used all of our remaining snack credits trying new items at all the extra countries around Epcot. It was well worth it.

I asked to do this at the concierge at Yacht Club last trip (convert QS credits to snacks) and they wouldn't do it. Is there a specific place to make the conversion?

I think there's no really rhyme or reason to it. My DD was a CM in college program and was given freedom to make judgment calls for guests. It really depends on the CM and probably (even more so) their supervisor. If it's not a stated policy you're just hoping for pixie dust. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't.

They can not be converted but you can use a cs for three snack credits but must be done all at once. You can't get one at one place then one at another. At least this is how it has always been explained to me I personally have never done it.

We have done it at our resort with no problems. Never been told that they wouldn't or couldn't do it.

This is my plan for the last day spend the evening at Epcot using up all snack credits and any cs we have left.

I booked with my TA because I have been talking to her for years trying to plan this one out since I heard of her. She knew from the get-go I want to have FD if it comes out. I'm willing to move to other resorts. I jumped on what she gave me because it was 500-700 cheaper than Disney and a few other TA's. She told me when I booked if it comes up she would help me get it. Knowing I am flexible helped too. I knew we were going no matter what this year anyways (unless something big happens but so far we are good to go)

If FD comes out at one of the rooms or resorts I originally wanted but couldn't afford. If switched and we can get fd it would be the same price or small enough differences that it is what I was already paying for the lower end package. If it doesn't work it won't work we already know we need the DDP to make the meals/shows all work.

We were able to do it last year in the CBR gift shop. We had FD and unfortunately my parents had to cut their trip early so they had a bunch of QS and snacks leftover before they had to leave. We went to the gift shop and bought lots of snacks! Each QS=3 snacks! Lots of pez dispensers! Haha

Need to decide whether to add another half-park day on the last day. There are 2 possible flights, one that leaves at 10:20am and one leaves at 7pm. Both cost the same because I'm using miles. Both are direct flights. Leaning heavily towards the later flight because it means I won't have to catch the magic express bus at 7am! Even though it means I will get in later, I'm probably going to take the next day off work to recover!

So do I add one last park day (I think I already know the answer from all of you)? It won't cost much more ($10-20), and well, its Disney! It may be a solo day because my sister may have to take a different flight (she's using southwest miles and I'm using delta miles), but I'm ok with that. And we already have 2 pool/Disney Springs days built into our trip, so don't need to just hang around there! But then, which park? Already doing 2 MK days plus the Halloween party. HS doesn't seem like I need another day. Maybe Epcot because of the food and wine festival? Or AK to try and get on the other Pandora ride via fastpass (we're planning one during AM EMH and one via FP). If we end up with park hoppers I guess I could go to both? But would that be worth it if I have to get back to POR by 3/4?
