Need to decide whether to add another half-park day on the last day. There are 2 possible flights, one that leaves at 10:20am and one leaves at 7pm. Both cost the same because I'm using miles. Both are direct flights. Leaning heavily towards the later flight because it means I won't have to catch the magic express bus at 7am! Even though it means I will get in later, I'm probably going to take the next day off work to recover!

So do I add one last park day (I think I already know the answer from all of you)? It won't cost much more ($10-20), and well, its Disney! It may be a solo day because my sister may have to take a different flight (she's using southwest miles and I'm using delta miles), but I'm ok with that. And we already have 2 pool/Disney Springs days built into our trip, so don't need to just hang around there! But then, which park? Already doing 2 MK days plus the Halloween party. HS doesn't seem like I need another day. Maybe Epcot because of the food and wine festival? Or AK to try and get on the other Pandora ride via fastpass (we're planning one during AM EMH and one via FP). If we end up with park hoppers I guess I could go to both? But would that be worth it if I have to get back to POR by 3/4?
You're probably asking the wrong group.....of course add another day! I would do AK and FP whichever Pandora ride you didn't FP the first day.

Regardless of whether or not you add on a day, I would definitely take the later flight home. That way you can sleep in.

We found out last year that if you have QS meals left it equates to 3 snacks per meal as well. Did not know that before, but thought I would share. We came home with snack gifts for family. Worked out nice.

I asked to do this at the concierge at Yacht Club last trip (convert QS credits to snacks) and they wouldn't do it. Is there a specific place to make the conversion?
I had the same experience when we were staying at the BWI, they would not do it

I would op for the later flight and one more day. We may do this our self and FP Pandor tier one (the one we didn't have fp before Lol and then might hop over to another park for lunch and some last HS or Epcot. I don't know if I would do MK as I am trying to plan the last night leaving MK as a firework night and ending on that night. (just something about that thought sounds nice)

You can do it at a gift shop or any place that sells snacks. You just take 3 snacks and ask to use a qs credit. You have to have all 3 in one place. If f&w 3 things from one booth. However you can't turn 3 snack credits into a meal.

I hate how quiet is here in weekends. How dare you guys have lives.
oh man I was thinking the same thing. I've felt alone here. I got really excited when I saw your name. I thought, "Oh there's my friend".

Disney ME app has updated if anyone hasn't seen it. I did not have it on my phone as I add it when it's closer to my trip. Pretty cool.

Also notice don't that the macaroni hot dog that used to be at fair fax fare is not at caseys. My DD16 is excited.

Does anyone have reviews of the diamond horseshoe? I just noticed that it will be open when we will be there. Liberty Tree is one of my planned ADRs. Maybe I will switch it and just eat there.

Don't know about diamond horseshoe but I was reading on another thread that LTT switched back pretty much to its old menu. In case you didn't know a couple months back they changed up the menu and the pushback was pretty strong it seemed on the boards here. So they brought back the former favorites ie. Pot roast and colony salad and ooey gooey toffee cake as the default dessert for the all you can eat meal. That dessert is reason enough in my opinion to go there ;)

Yeah, I think just writing it out convinced me! Anyways, my sister and I just booked out flights. We leave within an hour of each other so we both decided to go ahead and do the half day at the park. Will probably get the AK FP like you said; if we decide to change up our plans then it'll be easier to cancel later than add it later!

Yeah, there was really only one answer to this question! Haha! We will arrive in Orlando around 6PM the day after Thanksgiving. We have no plans to visit the park that night (obviously) or Saturday (resort hopping to check out Christmas decorations), but I have tickets for Saturday just in case. The $11/person it is costing is worth it to know that we can sneak into a park if we decide to.

Since it's quiet today, I can ask my sort of OT question. If you had free dining, would you rather upgrade to deluxe for 1000 and enjoy yachtsman, narcoosee's and la cellier or spend 1500 and upgrade to club level. I have a FD BB booked and this is internal debate. I really love club but it is over 200 more a night. Deluxe is a better value because I will eat well and my family loves food. We also love CL. My kids love going for snacks and cans of soda. I enjoy the beer and all coffee. However, 1500 buys a lot of beer and soda! Thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't do either. We are in the parks from rope drop to closing and I don't want to be tied down to too many TS meals, not to mention that I'm a picky eater and the heat kills my appetite. $1000-1500 is a good start to the next trip. That's just me, though.

I would do deluxe...with all that food, your kids shouldn't be hungry for the club level snacks! And with the extra $500, you can buy snacks and cans of soda for your room.

From what I understand, you can't "convert it", you just spend it. Going to concierge asking for a QS to show on your ddp so you can spend it later as 3 snacks won't work. You need to go to a snack place, grab 3 snacks and when it comes to pay, ask for it to be rung up as a QS credit.
So 3 snack credits won't be added to your account and a QS taken off, just a QS will be taken off.

Hope I explained that properly!
