I have an off topic question...the Hoop dee doo dinner show...is it worth 2 dining credits? I've done Spirit of Aloha, and I thought it was just ok. Is Hoop dee doo better?
We really didn't like Spirit of Aloha. We all had a good time at Hoop Dee Doo. Both are cheesy, but Hoop Dee Doo is fun cheesy. We found Spirit of Aloha cringey.

Somehow after many trips I've managed to miss Hoop dee doo, my kids wanna do it, trying to figure out if it's worth 2 credits. We're eating at universal for 2 days, so we'll have 2 extra TS credits per person, so we're looking to do 2 signature meals or dinner shows. Can't do my ADRs till May, but trying to figure it all out now. Hoping for FD, but getting the DP regardless.

We have done Hoop Dee Do twice. Once about 20 years ago and again last September. It is pretty good, worth seeing at least. I don't have an interest in seeing it over and over, but I would recommend seeing it at least once.

We're doing the same, using our extra credits from our Universal days toward some signature experiences! We were trying to choose between HDDR and SoA, and every single person told us we would enjoy HDDR WAY more than SoA.

Yeah, I think we're gonna do HDDR, and CRT. Decisions, decisions!

If I add a Dining Plan, does it include the day I check in and the day I check out?

For example, If I check in on the 1st and out on the 5th (a four night stay), would I have 5 or 4 Disney Dining days?

It goes by number of nights you stay. So if you stay 4 nights you get 4 ts.

This is true. Just to make sure it is clear to OP though. You would have 4 TS credits to use once you check in until midnight on the day you check out. So you have more than 4 days you can use your 4 credits.

You can however, still access those credits on checkout day...and join the mad dash of finishing all those sweet sweet snack creds. So many dole whips....

OT: What Signature Dining do you find is worth the double dip in table credits? We had a good time at Narcoossee's back in '15, but there was also a steak & lobster tail combo that seems to no longer be on the menu....

Just to add to that. You can use credits anytime beginning on your arrival day up until midnight of your checkout day.

My DH and I ate at the Yachtsman during our honeymoon in Oct '15 and loved it! I havent tried Narcoossee's (it was our runner up option), but I've heard many say that they preferred the Yachtsman of the two. Amazing steak, great wine, and a good location. You can walk the boardwalk after. I Think we'll be going back on our upcoming trip!

We went to Narcoosses too in 2014. We had free dining and my dh and I both got the surf and turf. We have decided to go back and just get lobster. But I just read the other day in a review that if you have someone to go halfs with, one gets filet and other gets lobster and the chef will divide it up for you (might be easier if you go butter poached twin tails.)

Location for narcoosses pretty good too. Castle view really can't be beat. Lol. Can you tell I'm biased? It was a magical 20th anniversary for us.

But on the 60 day out from the 9th I could book 8-14 then correct? I'll have 7 days worth of Park tickets so a total of 7 days just the initial booking allowed won't be until the 60 day on the 9th
Last year I had a 1 night room only reservation before my free dining package. I was able to book fast passes at 60 days from room only check in date. You are still limited to the number ticket days you have. I don't know if this has changed but you could do it in September.

We felt the same about SoA. Really the only thing good about that show was the fire dancer. Haven't seen Hoop Dee Doo.
