I highly doubt they are all booked up. Nothing was showing at any of the mods for my dates expect for the higher priced rooms. It was really picked over. Yet almost every third party website I went to (Orbitz, Expedia, Undercover Tourist) had Standard rooms at every moderate. I don't think the Disney website is an accurate reflection. I think rooms might be held back for promos, people are booking reservations they don't intend to keep, resellers have rooms.. there's quite a few factors. If it's not a hugely busy time period, there will be something.
We just booked mid December for CBR standard less than a week ago. It was through our TA but it wasn't through any of their promotions. I believe he just booked straight from Disney, but I dunno.
Do you book them with your name but add other guests to the rooms?
Yes I believe you could do that, but check the numbers because I think it would end up more expensive that way?I apologize if this question has been asked/answered and I somehow missed it, but can you do the 2-day PH with your reservation as required and then get discount tickets elsewhere for the rest of your days? We are usually one park a day people, and this requirement is new to us since the last time we had FD in 2014. Thanks!
Does anyone know of a thread on this topic for last year? I've tried to search but haven't found anything. I thought it would be interesting to read what the thread was like just before the release. I wondered what the "heads up" looked like. I also thought it might be fun to see people saying what they got.
I am sorry, but it's lata and I am half asleep. What do you mean?Guys, the wait to contact Disney on the phones has been a rather long as of late.
Granted, most Sunday nights are rather busy.
Not official, just observations.

But if I can't book it through the website then I can't get free dining. Orbitz or Expedia having it doesn't help us we have to buy a package through Disney. I wasn't talking about crowd level or anything. Specifically talking about chances of getting a moderate with free dining.
Yes you can, but very expensive. You might want to consider saving your two day tickets for another time. You can always upgrade them to more days when you're ready to use them.I apologize if this question has been asked/answered and I somehow missed it, but can you do the 2-day PH with your reservation as required and then get discount tickets elsewhere for the rest of your days? Unfortunately, yes you will have to cancel and make news ones if what you have is not available but I do think you can have several reservations in your name-not sure.Ok then I have another question for ya!!
The day FD drops, if I click modify then search for the promo... if it's not available for what I have booked now do I then get to choose another room type? Because at that point I need 3 rooms (I have a 2 bedroom now). Will I need to cancel my reservation and book another 3 separate reservations at that point?
Do I have to cancel my original one first, or will Disney let me make more than one in my name for the same dates?
When I was making my dining reservations this morning I noticed my change reservation button is back!![]()
