Your tickets will be attached to the FD portion, but you make them for the total number of days. You can access them early, but your FP+ window won't open until the date of the second stay.

Question on this, I have room only 8/15 and FD BB starting 8/16. I was told I can use them early and I would have to activate them in the park and I wouldn't be able to make fastpasses until I ativate them there. Are you saying I can make fp for the 15th once my window for the 16th opens?

I asked DH if we can go for our anniversary in December. Sure, he says. We decided on BC or AKL. We talk about getting Dxdp and eating at AP and Yachtsman.
Then just now he says we better change the dates so the kids will be out of school when we go.
So much for romance, lol.

Have poly standard room aug27-sep3rd booked with dining plan and 6 day hoppers. I can go on and "modify" my plans to the current promotion which is 15% off, will I be able to modify them at 4am to FD or a RO if that is released? Are standard rooms part of this FD promo? I think last year BC standard rooms were excluded.

Not if she is under 3 unless you "age" her up and then you'll have to buy her a ticket too.

My thought was, the FP+ window will open (for you, on the 16th) and you can make FP+ for length of stay. So the number of days you can make FP+ is tied to the FD portion. Let's say you're taking a day off in the middle or your last day you have an early flight, so no parks. Now, I'm wondering if you could make a FP+ for the 15th?? You have a room reservation, so the system knows you're there. You just don't have tickets attached to that reservation. I don't know if it can be done, but I'd be trying it.

Thanks! I think I quoted you instead of replying. Hhmm, that could be a game changer for me. If I could fastpass the 15th then dh will get his rest day. He wants a day of nothing but pool, adult beverages and a steak dinner. I will definitely try it now. That would be awesome!

No way of knowing what might be available, but you should be able to modify if your room does qualify.
