I just call Disney and the CM said you will not be able to modify a current reservation that I have to free dining if and when it is offered. Did I get a CM that does not the way it works, or is this true?

I think if you don't currently have a package with tickets this may be true. I had to rebook my package this way when I went from a room only to a package.

Figured it out... website. (App does not have option . )

Does anyone know if it is better to try to book via the website or use the app? I also wish that when booking online that it would give an option to book two room instead of starting over again.

I'm not confident on the dates I'm seeing, but it looks to be the "up to" 20, 25, 30% deal with obvious resorts excluded. Nothing shocking from what I see. Not 100% that it drops tomorrow, but that's usually been the game plan.

Free dining in 2014 for 6 nights: 2300
Free dining in 2017 for 6 nights: 3150 est.

The same exact resort (CSR) for 6 nights for almost the same dates (Christmas week) it is $800 more this year than last year. It's mostly the fact that we have to upgrade to the DDP plus the ticket price increase.

We were nervous about doing a park that Saturday last year, but it really wasn't bad. We did HS, and with a good FP plan, rode rides multiple times with little wait. I thought it was less crowded that day than Wednesday was at MK.
