So as we get close, what is everyone's thoughts on if they will offer a dark side dooney?

They did a light side one, so I expect that they will do a dark side one too.

I won't be too upset if they don't though. I have spent too much on Dooneys already this year!

ETA: my guess on the Dark Side Dooney is that it will be the same pattern as the light side one, but instead of the pastel colors it will be darker colors.

I would love this. I was not a huge fan of the light side colors. A little too 90's neon for me! I currently love the standard SW dooneys sold at the parks, but, a bag that is related to my first challenge would certainly be more special.

Hopefully that means the rest of the info...i.e. course, bibs, and corrals won't be too far behind. Especially now that they've gotten the Wine & Dine and Avengers (oops I mean Super Heroes) announcements out of the way!

You can. You just won't get your active fees back.

Yes. Based on all the other runDisney things I've done you are able to return any preorder merchandise but lose out on the active fees

Nice find! I have only purchased one race dooney (PHM a couple of years ago). I did it the old fashioned way and stood in line (...forever!). Anyone want to run through the important things I need to keep in mind? Ideally, I would like to use my AP 10% discount and not pay active fees. But, not to a point that I lose my shot. I thought at some point one of the boards was discussing how to pre-order and still get the discount, but I can't remember where I saw that for the life of me.

My DD16 and I are planning Dapper Day outfits. We are going to go as Han and Chewie, but really subtle. I'm nearly done with the costumes.

I believe that if you preorder, when you pick up you can return and rebuy to get the discount added. PMH this year was the first time I did the preorder, and I was so excited about the bags that I completely forgot to ask about applying the discounts. Lol! I didn't think about it until after I got home from the trip.

It's basically people dress in 50's clothes and be fancy like it would have been when Disneyland opened in 1955. They do a Dapper Days two times a year at Disneyland and once at WDW and DL Paris, so it's basically a chance to be silly and dress extra fancy. The WDW day is April 16.
