Well it is good to know I at least have my eyes pointed in the right direction.Usually they're posted on twitter and facebook. Sometimes they post them on the Disney Parks Blog too.

Definitely keep following your plan. As I understand it from your original post you're exclusively walking, right? Are you hoping to run or keep walking but increase your speed? Maybe you can add in some short bursts of occasional running (10-15 seconds) and see how you like that, and then maybe do something like run 10 seconds/walk 50 seconds and then build from there?Jeff Galloway's half marathon app. I'm trying for 2-3 short days during the week, and then a long one on the weekend.
Whatever my results, I feel better and healthier than I have in a long, long time.
I bought quite a few too before I found one that I really like.I use the same app! I love it! I have bought quite a few and it is most definitely the best I have found so far! I LOVE that it changes the tempo of your music to meet the pace!!
I would say yes, exclusively walking. That's what I wanted to hear was that I'll get faster as I build up my endurance. Thank you. I just needed some reassurance from some folks that actually know what they're talking about.Definitely keep following your plan. I think you'll find too that you'll get faster as you increase your distance and build up your endurance.Keep up the great work!!
I want to find out about the medal too ! Also, no survey from RunDisney for me.
Need to buy my park tickets soon so we can pick out FP+. Flying in Thursday night before the race, hoping to do AK on Friday, MK for a little bit on Saturday (have lunch reservations at BOG), EP after the race on Sunday, MK on Monday and then maybe HS on Tuesday before flight out!
I didn't get the survey either. Maybe because this is my first time doing one of their races?

No survey for me either. I booked my trip myself and registered myself, and this will be runDisney race weekend #9 for me. I think it's just a random selection.Probably not, I've done two other races before. I booked through a travel agency and not myself, not sure if that makes a difference?

Whoo Hoo! Just made Fast Pass+'s for our trip! It's getting real!![]()
P.S. You wanna know how nerdy I am? I based my disneybounding outfits on what I'm wearing for the races that day, and I based the theme of our mousekeeping tipping envelopes on each of my disneybounding outfits. For instance, I'll be disneybounding as Tink for the 10K and when we go to DHS, so our tip envelope has Tink on it.![]()
I agree with you. And we pretty much know what the Glass Slipper Challenge medal will be like (they really backed themselves into a corner with the design on that one...).As for the medals, I feel like I have a good idea of what they will look like. But it will be fun to find out for sure. My guess is the only difference as to what the 10k/half medals will look like from previous years will be the accent image (snowflake last year, cinderella carriage in 2014) will be a seashell. I am guessing the 5k medal will look like the image they released on social medial to go with the "I'm training for the Princess 5k" cover photo. I swear in 2015 the image that ended up being on the 5k medal I'd seen previously in the lead-up to the race. Although a quick google search isn't finding it for meMy final guess is that the ribbons will match or come close to the colors that match those training cover photos.
Thank you very, very much. BTW, I had a great workout today, even though it was on the treadmill.@SherryinBA here are some posts you may find helpful. It's all about walking faster, good form, etc.:

I keep thinking of Aesop's Fable, The Tortoise and the Hare. Slow pokey me, but moving along. At the half I ran last weekend there was a lady who walked the whole race and she smoked me! I wasn't that far behind her at the start, but I stopped for a bathroom break at mile 4 and didn't see her again until I was about mile 5, approaching the turnaround point. She was already headed back. Didn't see her again until after the race. I finished with a 13:30ish pace so I would say she was at least 12:00-12:30 pace. She rocked! I was super impressed.
