We've been to 2 Christmas and two Halloween parties and all 4 had seemingly strict enforcement of multiple wrist band checks/CM sweeps of lands and out of the parks. Boggles my mind to hear "well it's the first party they'll work the kinks out". They do these multiple multiple times each and every year!?!?They usually do a good job, this is the first time in the three years I've been going that they haven't done as well.

I just hope all this negative feedback is getting to the right people at Disney, the ones with the power to make changes fast. Sometimes I feel like the guests are all mad and Disney is too busy patting themselves on the back to notice.
Now I want to dress as a CM for the party and just throw squatters out of the park all night!![]()
So just to be clear, they are offering the one night memory maker? If so where would i purchase it?
Thanks
Haha.... my thoughts exactly. I am also an adult that will be attending without kids as I have done a couple times in past years. And it is fun to do the trick or treating part as I get to do alot of people watching.... it's great to see kids and adults in costumes, etc!! But... I will not stand in line just to get candy!I plan to hit the ToT stations as I'm walking to the next attraction/event/ride/whatever!!
Night of Joy is a Christian music event right? Maybe guests were just more ethical and not greedy, or maybe it just wasn't as enticing to the general public?
Were they Goldenberg's Peanut Chews?Mindwellwasted said:That's how I did the ToT last year BUT I discovered they give out a candy bar we don't have back home - can't remember the name but it's very plan looking brown wrapper. Like chocolate and peanuts. I loved it! So kinda might have to suck it up this year and change my planning cause of it hah
I sent my concerns to Disney by email. I did it very politely and told them I understand how difficult it is. The response was they do keep non wristband people out of the rides and attractions. I even mentioned in my email, that I knew that, but not many go to the event for that stuff anyway. Oh well at least they know of my concerns.
