"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Anyone see this about the Hocus Pocus shirts, grrr...

We were told that this shirt is a test and they are almost sold out and not coming back #MNSSHP #NotSoScary

Why would Disney "test" only 300 of something that's pretty specific ("HP Spectacular 2015")? Do they plan on keeping Hocus Pocus Spelltacular next year so they are trying to plan next year's merchandise? Really really hoping this is inaccurate info. It's not like Disney to turn down money, and based on the fact the shirts sold out in one night, seems like there's more money to be made THIS year.

I agree. T shirts do not take that long to print. I bet Disney will make more and sell more this year.

Think about it. It would take 10 people purchasing the Hocus Pocus shirts at the maximum 30 allowed to sell out, if there truly are 300. I would say no chance of getting those shirts unless you want to pay lots of money online.

My guess it that the crowds were much heavier last night due to opening night which also included media, bloggers, etc.

Is it possible that this first party may have been the most crowded of the season? Here's my theory, let me know what you think: Historically the first party hasn't sold out. So perhaps Disney gave out more passes to press, bloggers, vips, etc. Then the party sold out. So now a planned crowd level went beyond their expectations?

I sure hope they get things worked out so the next party goes more smoothly. Here's hoping they limit sales of party specific merchandise so there's something leftover for October.

Reading about the party last night makes me want to buy tickets to another one so I can be sure to get everything done that I want. I could Disneybound Snow White one night and then wear my Evil Queen Costume the 2nd night.

I'm concerned about the mess it would be on My Disney Experience though - an AP, a MVMCP ticket and 2 MNSSHP tickets. Yikes.

I hope everyone on the upcoming parties have a good time!

I want that popcorn bucket and the stein! I'm not supposed to collect any more drinkware...other than my enormous shotglass collection.

Watch the fireworks and then immediately head to Frontierland for the second parade. Tons of front row spots and you get to see the Headless Horseman ride a long time.
Where in Frontierland is the best spot to sit for the 2nd parade? Thanks!

We watched the fireworks last night from the Poly after a fortunately timed Ohana meal, and they looked amazing! We're going on Friday and I've got a couple of questions if someone who went last night wouldn't mind answering them please.... is the projection on the castle show the same as the normal one before Wishes? If so we might watch the fireworks from somewhere other than main st if it's really busy.... And secondly, the only meet and greet I'm bothered about is Jack and Sally.... what time would you recommend getting in line? Thank you :-)

1. No, it's a different one.

2. To maximize party time, sounds like no later than 5:00p or so.

this totally makes sense! they took advantage of lower crowds then its like CRAP! I'm sure everything will smooth out over the next couple weeks and the parties will be great. I've gone to early and late parties and always had a great time. The only thing I'm worried about is buying a pin on the last party day
