"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I paid for my tickets a couple weeks ago. I cant remember if they were supposed to mail them or not! How do I find out? And can I just pick them up at POR when we check in? If they didn't mail them to us? Or...are the tickets just automatically uploaded to our magic bands?
I got mine a week after I bought them through FEDEX

We always do rope drop at DHS on our party day, and we use our FPs there. You can get a lot done at DHS in just a few hours there. You can enter MK at 4:00 and get additional FPs from 4-7, but they really are not needed. Ride lines should be minimal even though it is a Friday.

Thanks Smitch! You are da bomb!

We plan to go to the party on a day we are already at MK. Do we have to exit and re-enter to get into the party? I hope not. Anybody know how this is handled?

You show your tickets around 4 and get a wristband once they are scanned. No need to leave park.

Ok good. We have dinner at BOG at 440 so it looks like we can go get scanned in Tomorrowland after dinner. Thanks!

This is helpful :)

We are travelling with a 23 month old, 5 and 7.5 year old. I'm trying to plan our park schedules....I was thinking about not doing a park on the party day, to try and stay up as late as possible. I'm not convinced the baby will nap in a stroller at DW!:yay:

If you've got younger kids, what have you done for party nights? We went a couple years ago with a 2.5 and 5 year old...never saw any evening events as we left the parks by about 6 or 7 every night!

This is our first time with hoppers as well...I guess we could use those for a park breakfast, then back to the resort to "rest up' before the party....

So much planning!

Two questions:

1) Can you pick up the party-themed Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom card between 4:00 & 7:00, or only after the "official" start time at 7:00?

2) Can one family member hold a place in line at Jack & Sally or does the whole family have to wait in line?

Thanks!

We went in 2013 with an 8, 6, and almost 3 year old. We didn't do any park in the morning. We relaxed, swam, and then everyone (even the adults!) took naps around 1 pm. We were up and ready to go and got there right around 4 pm. We all made it until midnight with no problems. We also don't do a park the next day. We pick a party about halfway through our trip, and then use the next day as our rest day. Then we're all ready to go the last few days!

I have fallen WAY behind here.

I know no official schedule will be released prior to September 15, but is it pretty safe to go by what the 2014 schedules were?

Just bought our tickets today. We are going Friday Oct 23rd. I am so excited.

When first going through the ordering process I was looking for tickets with the annual pass discount and it said all the parties for the entire 10 days we will be there were sold out. I nearly cried. Then, on a whim, I checked for full price tickets and suddenly they were all available. I didn't know they only sell a certain number of annual pass discounted tickets per party.

Is that what happened or should I call central reservations tomorrow?
October 23 doesn't have annual passholder discount tickets. The discount is only select nights. Full list can be found here:

Im so excited to be going to MNSSHP for the first time. Im going solo. I got tix for Sept 22 and 25. My tix came in the mail about a week after ordering them. I cant wait to go.

Pretty safe. Disney will throw some sort of curve the last minute. One of our "must sees" last year were the princesses with their princes, which of course was removed from last year's party.

I don't have time to read through everything right now, so sorry if this has been brought up already.
We really want to go this year, and have narrowed it down to either September 15th, 22nd, or October 1st. Would there be much a weather difference there at all? I get heat sick annoyingly easy and if there's any chance of getting "nicer" weather I need to take it.

Any other differences in those dates I should be aware of? Crowd levels and such. Thanks in advance!

I didn't know that. Unfortunately we aren't getting there until the 21st so we can't go to any of the parties with the discount. Oh well. I'm still excited for it. Hopefully it will totally be worth it. By all accounts it is so here's hoping.
Totally worth it. We're doing two parties this year -- one that was discounted and the other was it. Still completely worth the full price of a ticket!
