It's not like it entails another race to plan, etc...just an extra medal to hand out and a higher fee to charge the runners!but now that I'm hearing the possibility of the 10k with no challenge, I'm thinking about skipping it to. And just when I get comfortable with THAT decision, the devil on my shoulder says "you're going to be there anyway, do you really want to miss out the 10k inagural medal?"

This is me too. I planned on skipping both Tink and PHM this year, but when they announced the new C2C and GSC I knew I'd have to do them both. I really hope there is a Tink challenge so I can get it out of the way. If there is a 10K this year but no challenge, I'll still prob do it since I'll already be out there. But I'll be irritated if they make it a challenge next year:/

This one though I'll have to skip can't make it to the West Coast in January

for those who were worried about getting a race in before the cutoff.
but I want it printed on the rD site!!
But then again, if it's a 10K with no challenge, maybe i'd sign me and my 10 yr old up to do it. she is a runner and would be up to the challenge of a 10K by then.
You guys actually got an email from them finally!?!
