Did anyone get the survey yesterday asking about interest in a 1/2 in Paris next year?

Really ???? Oh boy wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper for all of us if DL just got another 1/2 ????

They have boxing and kickboxing class. It's a fairly small class (compared to like a large gym) with mostly just a bunch of boxing bags hanging all over. they start classes with a 15 minute cardio segment, then the boxing or kickboxing for 30 minues then 15 minutes of abs...medicine ball optional They also have a mini boxking ring where you can receive personal training by the hour if you choose. There were a couple of treadmills, and elliptical and a stationary bike available for use too. seemed like a lot of fun...I'm excited to do some boxing again. I saw the instructor walking around with those sparring mitts on too...I LOVED it when my boot camp trainer would get those out...especially after a rough day at work.

That sounds like so much fun. I love kickboxing and hitting the boxing bags, haven't done it in a while but remember my arms getting into shape fast when I did.

I did NOT get a survey asking about a race in Paris...Disney is gonna bankrupt me, I just know it!

In the survey they asked if I would be interested if the price was $75. I thought it was kinda funny b/c we pay $175 for races here. They also mentioned that if they did it, it would be in the fall next year.

I like your training plan!
2012 was my first year running so thats really all I focused on. Now that 2013 is here and I've been running for a full year I need to focus on losing some weight (just started WW) and then building some upper body strength. Havent started on that second one yet but your post reminded me I need to make it a priority!
Currently trainig for the Diva half in SF on 5/5. Its a flat course with no character stops hehe so my goal is to get a 3:00 or less. Might not seem like a big goal to sum but for me it is! Tink I did in 3:09 so I'm pretty sure I"ll be able to do it!

That's my plan too! I've got Dallas RnR in a couple if weeks and hoping for a 3:05 or less time. Then space coast in December will be for my big goal!!! Shooting for a 2:45 time at that one.

Not a big goal to others but those are my goal races this year. Allows me to play at the DL and wdw races.

Honestly, I don't think I could survive the flight....I can barely handle California to Florida.

I'm so with you in that! But someday I want to visit all the Disney parks world wide and if there's a run involved I might be able to sell it.

Needed some happy news...our new 18 mo old Greyhound rescue Madeline had a freak accident and broke 4 places in her neck...it is hard to accept that money can't fix things...she is running in Heaven now....and our heart are breaking.. Just skipping working out the rest of the week !

Hi everyone- Joining in! I coast 2 coasted last year with Princess and Disneyland and thought it was time to get another "set" for 2014.

Going to do Tink and W&D in 2014! I've always loved this site because when I first joined in I was going to be doing my first 1/2 (the Princess) and everyone helped me out so much. Since Feb of 2012 I have finished 7 and am going for finishing a total of 13 13's by the end of '13. So only 6 more to go!

I already booked my hotel for Tink. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orange County for the DL 1/2 and really loved it. The shuttle pick up to take us to the race was just right next door. I got a 2 bedroom suite with living room because my mom and dad (both will be 64) are walking their very first 1/2 a the Tink!

FYI... if you are interested in the Hyatt (gorgeous hotel and rooms by the way) is having a 50% off their suites right now. I got a 900 sq ft 2 bedroom suite for 3 nights for $800. Amazing price for the size of room. Plus I will split it with my parents. Anyway just wanted to check in and let you know about the deal and also to say hi!

I did! They asked on a scale of 1-10 and I marked a big 10. They also asked about if I was interested in the DL 1/2, which I thought was funny b/c it's sold out, but thinking if they have enough interest they'll add more, I marked 10 again. Fingers crossed.

Since Feb of 2012 I have finished 7 and am going for finishing a total of 13 13's by the end of '13. So only 6 more to go!

That is so cool! Congrats on the finished ones and good luck w/ the remaining 6!!

Try and get a really early flight out and maybe you can even get to the expo on Friday. There are SO many hotels right around Disneyland with really inexpensive rates (especially if you book early) you might not want a roommate. Ck out the hotels that surround DL especially on Harbor and Katella. If you can swing it (they do have discount tickets through RunDisney) you should really try and see Disneyland. Since it is the "original" there really is something really special about it. Maybe someone else can give advise on flying right after a race. Hope this helps in the planning because the C2C medal is SO worth it.
