Official 2014 PHM & Glass Slipper "Where are you staying" thread!

I'm staying at Pop...currently its just me going by myself from Friday thru Monday. I'm running the GSC. Add me to the list that hopes there are some discounts! AP, FL resident or GP...please!

I guess I'll be stocking up on Target Disney Gift cards between now and then! Between an Oct trip, Nov trip, this trip, SWW and a cruise Fall of 2014 I'm going to need all the Disney discounts I can get!

We changed resorts! We were initially at Poly - really looking forward to that monorail to the start on PHM morning. But with all the construction issues and tikiman reporting that the volcano pool will go down in January, we switched to BWI CL. I'm a little concerned about giving up that monorail transport to the start, and my chEAR squad will only be able to see me around Epcot and at the finish now. But we know we love BWI CL, and we spend a good amount of time in Epcot, so I think it will work well for us. Just hoping there won't be any bus glitches on PHM morning (although those are possible with the monorail, too, I guess!)

You bet! I think that's a good call. Trust me, I'm a huge Poly lover too so it's hard for me to say "pass" on that one!

Well...I've already changed my plans! I called to change my ToT reservation (shorten the trip) and decided to ask about availability for Princess. I decided to move from Pop to Port Orleans Riverside. I figure I'll probably have a lot of downtime at the resort between the 2 races so I wanted to stay at a resort I love spending time at. I also added a day at the end so I can have a little more park time too!

Online it wouldn't let me book Riverside - showed no availability so I was surprised when she said it was available.

Hi, just found this thread! Would you mind adding me, please? My Dd16 and I will be running PHM, staying at AoA 2/21-23 then Vistana Villages until 3/1! My mom gave us a free week in her timeshare unit- couldn't pass it up even though I'd rather stay onsite the whole time. We decided on the 2 nights onsite for the convenience of the buses for us and DH and DS to come watch. My name is Beck, DDs is Kenzie. Thanks!!

Hi! My name's Cathy and I'm running in the 5K and PHM. Our first two nights are going to be at YC and our last three nights will be at the Contemporary. I've stayed at BLT but never at CR so I'm excited to stay there! I've also stayed at BC but never YC. I consider those both almost the same resort, anyway! I am running with my sorority sisters and we are all big WDW fans. We are all looking forward to a girls weekend at our favorite place in the world and if that means running 13.1 miles on February 23rd, then so be it! PHM is all of our first half marathons. We call ourselves the PiT Crew....Princesses in Training!

But in 2014, she's going to WDW with her family just two weeks before the PHM, so running with me is not in the cards . . . for this year. So I love that you're running with sisters! Which house?

Very cool! I didn't realize you were doing the 5K too! I hadn't originally planned on it but I was the only person from the PiT crew who hadn't registered for it. One always needs more Disney swag, right?

We are Phi Sigma Sigma's. Which house are you? I loved being in a sorority!

We also purchased the race retreat...have you done that in the past?
