After looking at the tentative schedule I'd made up for our party on 9/23, we realized there was no way we would be able to see and do everything we wanted to that night, as we'd added the second seating of the Soirée .I jokingly suggested we needed two party nights to do it all, and we kind of looked at each other and said... What the heck. Can't take it with you anyway, right?

9/23... DS 10 and me He is dressing up as Thor and I am going to be a pirate. We bought costume tshirts and accessories.

\o/ yay! We had it scheduled as an Epcot day. Rearranged a few FPs, dropped a very early lunch at Via Napoli and dinner at Biergarten, picked up a late lunch there instead and voila!

Need to update our plans! We will now be attending 2 parties Same members in our party - except that we will now be attending as The Incredibles on 10/13. On 10/16 DD will be Elsa and DS will be Jack Skellington. DH and I will probably just opt for Halloween tees that night. No ADR either night.

No idea for costumes yet. I'm running a few ideas around for myself, doubt if MIL & DH dress up. The boys are still deciding. DS3 first said he wants to be candy, then changed to a cheeta, then changed to a tiger eating candy DS6 wants to be a zombie. Most likely a Plants v. Zombies zombie. Now to find a street cone for him...

We don't have a ADR. Last time we went, we had dinner at Pecos Bills. I had a pretty decent salad there & DH had a wrap that was yummy, so we'll probably go there or CHH.

Are you'll sure adults can dress up?!?!? I received the tickets today and it states "children are encouraged to dress up" then the rules for costumes. I didn't see anything including adults :-/

Yes, it always says that, but everyone can dress up.

Okay thanks! Didn't want to drag my Elsa costume in MK when we have a PL ressie at 3:15. I'll be dressing on the restroom after dinner....good times and wish me luck putting the wig on w/ my thick curly long hair:-o I hope my costume doesn't turn out to be a total flop...eek

Oops, forgot to mention that we will be Disneybounding for the Oct 23rd party.

My mom and dad will be going as Lightning McQueen and Sally, hubby and I will be going as Kanan and Hera (Star Wars Rebels) and my DS and DD will be going as Beck (Tron Uprising) and Vanellope Von Schweetz, respectively.

Can't wait!!!!

We are going to AK the morning of MNSSHP on Friday, 9/26, but were originally only going to MK. Should I cancel our FP+ for MK and try for morning FP+ at AK instead? We will also be in MK on 9/27, but only have the one morning for AK. I feel like all of my plans are coming apart at the seams!

I am in the same boat. Just decided to switch to HS the morning of our party, but have an A&E scheduled at MK that we can use on our party ticket, and I'm not giving that up!! If we didn't have that already scheduled, though, I would probably switch my FP selections to my morning park, especially since, like you, I have additional time at MK during my trip. Depending on what you intend to accomplish at AK, however, you may not need FP? I used to love the planning aspect of my trips, but FP+ has made it a real nightmare!!

Hi all! We will be going this Friday, 9/12, as part of my Disney birthday weekend! We went 2 years ago and loved it so are happy to be back. Here are our costumes:

DH -Pooh
Me -Eeyore, but with a tutu because it's my birthday!
DS (4) -Piglet
DS (5 mos) - Tigger

Almost everyone's outfits are complete after a busy crafting weekend. So excited but hope it doesn't rain too much!
