Official 2013 MNSSHP Guest List Thread

Okay, everyone, the list is current. I try to add the info from my PC, but I've had to do a few on the iPad, which loves to change your screen names via autocorrect. If there are any errors, please post letting me know. I have 4 events at school for my kiddos tomorrow, so my screen time will be limited during the day, but I will add any newcomers tomorrow evening.

We have tickets for 1 November 2A/1C - Unsure of costumes, but a Wreck it Ralph theme is winning the vote right now because my daughter believes she is Vanelope Von Schweets!

We are going to our very first party on Sept. 17. We are four adults and are not planning on wearing costumes. Very excited and impatient for September to get here!

Just booked my dining reservations and acquired tickets for MNSSHP for Halloween evening. Going to be there with my bride to be as this is our honeymoon, along with MOH, two groomsmen, one friend not in the bridal party, our ringbearer and her brother who is acting as security for her at the wedding. Not sure about costumes yet. Wonder if we could get away with wearing our wedding attire?

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Will this be a party of 5 adults and 2 kids or is the brother of the ring bearer an adult? MNSSHP is the only time a bride can wear a wedding gown in the park, however, by the end of the night, the dress could be in bad shape from sitting on the ground for parades and on and off of rides. Also, no costumes are allowed to drag the ground, so if it has any type of train, it would not be allowed (unless it is bustled up, of course). Depending on the weight of the gown, it might not be too comfortable.

As far as the weather, we nearly froze at our party (Oct. 30) last year. October can have the most unpredictable weather, so as long as you are prepared to accept what Mother Nature gives you, choose any costume you like.

going to my 2nd MNSSHP on Sept 24 will be wearing my "costume" on my flight as it consists of a pr of Grumpy Shorts and Grumpy Baseball shirt and cant forget the Sox or hat !! Wore it 2 yrs ago when I waited to get my picture taken with the 7 Dwarfs! Stood right between my 2 favorite Dwarfs Grumpy and Dopey!!

We are planning on coming Oct 24th (haven't bought tickets yet though) Do you think there is an urgency in this?

2 adults, 3 kids - will dress up but undecided at this time! We did the party in 2011 and dressed up as pirates! So fun.

Undecided about costumes...oldest is thinking Of being a muse from Hercules and youngest is deciding between Tinkerbell or Alice in Wonderland.

Had to cancel my 3:00pm PL reservation for 11/1/13. was told they are not open past 4pm on a party night? cant go any earlier than 4pm because we will be in animal kingdom until 3:30 that day and wont have park hoppers. You would think they would stay open later on party nights.

They may extend hours in August for party nights. That is what happened last year. Berlioz70 is the creator of the official PL thread here on the Dis. I'm sure she'll post as.soon as she hears something.

I will be updating the list in about an hour. We are in the car heading home from a tee shirt shopping spree at the Disney Store down in Cincy.

Here is my Wendy (from Disney Channel's Gravity Falls) costume. First will be a pic of her, in case you've never seen the show, and then a couple of pics of me. I will update the list after dinner.

We are going on a Girls Weekend and Princess89 and myself will be going on October 17!

We are working on costumes. I wanna just do black and orange tutus with some sort of Halloween Mickey shirt! Something simple but fun!

Definitely subscribe to the Official Pirates's League thread and Berlioz70 (a PL CM) will likely say when/if it will open for later bookings. I had the same question - and, when I booked at my 180+10, a CM told me to call back on May 1 to book the later times. Turns out she jumped the gun, Berlioz said it won't be until July or August that we will know, for sure. I had to choose an even earlier time at 180+7 which screws with our rest time, would really like to move it back a bit.

Thanks! I plan to draw her freckles on my face for the party. I am really looking forward to sitting for the parade without having to worry about my costume getting ruined. The last two years, I wore spandex leggings and had to be careful not to snag them on anything.
