Also, I'm travelling from VA and have never been to CA, what type of weather should I pack for the race?

I'm coming to DL from New Zealand to do the 1/2.
Can anyone give me an idea of how hot it will be at say 7.30-8am? It is winter here so I'm a bit worried that the heat is going to be a problem for me

A local or more frequent DLR visitor than myself would probably help with the weather a bit better, but I would say 60's-70's (15-22°C) for race time.

Your bib number will be on your waiver, near the signature line. If your bib number is not there, do not fret, as the waivers have not yet officially been released yet.

I was wondering the same thing. I understand a smaller race so less corrals, but why take out one from the middle, not the end. And if not the end at least one that makes more sense with the corral set up as shown by their own map...

Surely there's still a Corral D for the 10k, right? will it just be DDD runners? so confused.

Yeah. After thinking about it, that is exactly it. Corral D will only be DDD peeps for the 10K. So if you're in D, then everyone around you is in the same proverbial boat.

Interesting! I always assumed they assigned them in time order exactly, but apparently not! It doesn't really matter in the end, I guess.

B would have been nice, but C is ok, too. I think there might be more corrals, too. I've been in corral C and even B once before, but the POT I had for those races would've put me in D for this race.

E is for "excellent...I'm going to be with the Elmer's ". Gryhndmom and her DH will make "E" fun ! I know I'm disappointed too as I was sure I would just be in the elite group perhaps too many adult beverages ?!
