You soooo deserve this after what you have been through with the "knee" issues! Use the Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, provided him with three wonderful boys excuse...whatever it takes! :)

Went to e-mail a 10K proof of time and noticed the deadline to submit was 1 Dec 12 so anyone else out there with a time to submit...we will have to bring it to the expo. Even went to the RunDisney event site and reread to make sure...bummer...one more thing I have to remember to bring with me!

Just know the website for your race result, there will be computers and printers for printing out results to ask for corral re-assignment and even race waivers if you forget that.

Got an e-mail from Run Disney with a link to preorder the Dooney & Bourkey Princess purses. Limit is two and they have a shopper, cross body and wristlet. Already told DH what he got me for Valentine's Day! :cool1:

I NEVER get the RunDisney emails. Do you think you could post the link just in case if need to do a little shopping ??

Me either and I can't figure out why. :confused3

But if you go to the registration page under commemorative items, you can see them. I think it's the same as last year's pattern.

I did break down and get myself the crossbody from the expo last year.
I love the shopper bag but $296 that is just a lot of money. UGH, why does it have to be so expensive.

I bought last year's off eBay as inspiration to get me through the training for this year. I didn't get the princess tag on the outside though as the girl I bought it from had gotten it at the Downtown Disney store. If this one is like last year, I will sell it to a fellow runner at cost.

Another who never gets the runDisney emails....not sure why but I use AOL mail and always check my spam folder too. This is a reason why I always print my race confirmation details so I have proof of payment and registration!

I'm with you ! I'm also on AOL and I also print all race info/payment info before every race. Plus I'm a little paranoid that "something" could get lost.

I use @me.com and last year not one e-mail received, only knew about them from here and FB. This year RDisney has my number and I get e-mails for all the races even some I didn't register for, lol.

Since we'll be without kids this trip, we decided to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.

Our itinerary looks like:

Friday: arrive late morning- hit the expo & maybe DTD for some shopping
Sat: KTTK, maybe a little more time in MK then heading back to resort to relax
Sun: Race, back to resort to shower/change/nap then over to Epcot for a few hours, Dinner at Le Cellier at 7:45
Monday: MK and maybe AK
Monday night/Tuesday morning: Drive 24 hours straight back to NH to be back in time for our daughters 6th b-day on Wednesday. She'd be really upset if we missed her b-day because we were at Disney without her. :rotfl2:

It's NEXT month, princesses!! I'm so excited!!

Wow! You are DRIVING from New Hampshire?!? Very impressive. (And oh so worth it.) We fly down from Maine on Thursday night, leave Tuesday AM early. You've got a great itinerary!

I added up my miles in RunKeeper for 2012 and it was only 225 miles. I really thought it would be more but I guess considering I barely ran from mid-September on, I guess it makes sense. My goal for 2013 is to clock 500 miles at a minimum. Anyone else have a mileage goal this year?

I've never paid much attention.... and I usually quit running for the winter. I like the idea of an annual miles goal. I'll try for 500 too! Maybe that will keep me motivated after the 1/2 and again next November/December.

Oh - and now it begins. The new year dawned cold, grey and completely, totally, wet - all day. Blech. So what is a princess to do except get online and start planning her trip?!?! Consulting with my fellow princess and I am enjoying trying to plan our days. This is what I do when full-on winter hits. Although, I do need to get my rear in gear and find a suitable apron. I'm going as Provincial (pre-princess) Belle and while I have the blue dress and white shirt for underneath, I do NOT have an appropriate apron. All I can find are tall cooking aprons, where I need more of a "Raggedy Ann" style apron. Am hoping it has pockets - I have dreams of storing a small baguette in there while I run. Handy if I need the carbs, right?!?! So if you see Belle running by munching on a hunk of bread, be sure to say hello!:wave2:

Love your Belle costume idea! And you should definitely take a baguette. I've started trip-planning as well - so fun!

Okay ladies, I have a classic first world problem that only fellow princesses will understand :cutie:

I have been planning on buying a D&B PHM bag all along and even deliberately skipped buying ones I have seen that I like with the intention of getting one from this race because it would be special. I have one other D&B Disney bag that I use a lot and I have the green Tink wristlet so it isn't like I *need* another one, but I wanted this one. I'm a bit of a purse junkie so you combine that with Disney and it's right up my alley.

I am a little disappointed that it seems like it's the same bag from last year. I don't LOVE the pattern and wouldn't buy it but for it being the special PHM bag. But the bag doesn't even say PHM (except on the metal tag). I don't hate the pattern, I just don't love it. And you know darn well if I wait to see it in person to decide, they will be sold out before I get there.

If you were me, would you buy it anyway because it is special or skip it?

That is a tough call. I have last years crossbody, I wanted the taq. I am glad I got it, BUT if they had the shopper I would of rather had that. I don't use my crossbody alot as it is small for me for everyday. I would use the shopper everday. That is why I am thinking about it. I too wish it was something other than the same pattern for last year. If you don't have a PHM one and you have the funds for it, get it. I am glad I did last year.

I am so with you on loving the D&B along with Disney. I grabbed the shopper since I heard last year they sold out quickly. I figure if it is the same pattern as last year I can sell it pretty easy. Can RunDisney verify if it is the same pattern as last year ? I would hope D&B would make a different bag.

It looks like Tink and PHM bags are the same as last year. Disappointing.

I don't like the PHM one at all and am skipping Tink as well.

I just don't think I'd use them other than Disney.

Personally, I am going to pass on this one since I'm not in love with it. I bought a Disneyland D & B shopper a couple of months ago and stood in line for hours to get it because I LOVED the pattern. I don't mind spending the $$ if I really love it. (And honestly I have not used it much when we go to the park)
I was also hoping that they would have a special one to celebrate the 5th PHM. I do hope that there is plenty of "official merch" to spend my $$ on.
