My hubby and I are planning on the Half Marathon Jan 2013, and hopefully my best friend will also... I'm a total running newbie still trying to get through my Couch to 5K training....got sidelined with a nasty cold that turned into bronchitis. We've signed up for the Crescent City Classic 10K Easter weekend....likely will be walking a lot of it, but I feel like I'm moving forward towards our goal--well, my goal...DH is supporting and joining in! LOL

I have to admit the day I did 15 miles in 5 hours on the track was boring but it's good mental training.
The important thing is you find what works for you!
