Hi everyone! New here, and about 99% sure that I'll be Princess again in 2012!!! Nice to meet you!
here you go... http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/TeamSparkle
and it looks like they just posted a new one for a Tinkerbell look...perfect because I'm registered for that one too!!!
Thanks for the link! I'm trying to figure out how to do my Mary Poppins costume! (and if people will actually get it and know who I'm supposed to be...lol!)
I'm with whoever said they are starting their 10k training! I began mine this week!
Maybe some of you know this. Is there anything you can buy that updates with your current MPH? I mostly run on a treadmill, and it's impossible for me to pace myself correctly when not on it. I can't seem to find anything (except expensive watches) that will just allow me to know what my current speed is. Anyone know if something like that is out there somewhere?

Well, I'll tell ya what I do - I call it my poor-man's methodI go on mapquest and make a map from my house to someplace and back, and calculate the miles. Then I time myself. That's about it! It gives me a decent idea of how many minutes each mile takes, although not 100% accurate!

My biggest problem is that I can't pace myself without something to tell me how fast I am going. Whenever I run in my neighborhood, I end up starting off too fast and running out of steam at a half mile when I can comfortably run about 3 miles. The treadmill is great for me since I set it to a certain speed! If I had something to look at constantly to see how fast I was going, I think I'd be doing better outside.
Is it by any chance a Blackberry app? I know, I'm high maintenance.I'll check it out today. Thanks!
