Rose, I think we left BWV at about 4:15-4:30. It seemed to be plenty of time. You have to be in your corral at 5:30 and it's about a 20 min walk from the bus drop-off/parking lot to the corrals.
I have two approaches for your sisters... one, just be up front which is preferable, or two, "lose" them at the start.
I think it will be fine, though, if they have each other?
I don't like the cold either. I am doing all of my short runs/speed work inside right now, on the treadmill, and then long runs outside. Our lows are also in the mid-70s right now.

The TM is boring-10 miles with the same scenery
, but I listen to my music and watch Sports Center on ESPN (because most in the gym are men and that's what they watch).
I had forgotten gloves but one of my friends was smart and had brought the $1 stretchy pairs from the dollar store for each of us as a gift.
I am getting better, but there has been a learning curve for me in dressing right.
