Official 2009 College Football Discussion Thread

The only points LSU got all night was when I tuned in to check the score. Maybe I should have tuned in more often. LOL
:happytv:

Congrats Gator fans!

The Longhorns did win although they worried me a bit in the 1st half. This coming week-end is our big Texas-OU rival. Looking forward to it.

My DAWGS.....well they STUNK!!!!!!! Better luck next week...popcorn::popcorn:::happytv:

Returned yesterday (Sunday) from Baton Rouge. It was a great weekend with minimal rain, and we were prepared for that. The game was somewhat disappointing but NOT unexpected. The Tigers had lots to cheer about until the middle of the fourth quarter. It was definitely more exciting than last year. We can only hope to score more than three points in two weeks when the Auburn Tigers come to town. If not, we won't stand a chance! The campus was incredibly crowded and saw lots of people. Next weekend is a bye week so it will be nice and relaxing to watch everyone else play. Good luck to everyone.
Love college football and WDW.

Has anybody seen this week's Sports Illustrated yet?

Here's a story about it:

Sports Illustrated

Donnie, would you like me to pick you up a copy?

One good thing about the game, lots and lots of Gator fans stayed in the area through Sunday. We were in New Orleans on Sunday and saw LOTS of Gator support. My first visit (as an adult) to the area, enjoyed finally seeing in person the unique French Quarter.

But anyway, to get back on topic......

War Eagle!! (I know we lost, but I still gotta root!!)

Forgive me, Carol, but I have to ask:

Did you get a lot of beads on Bourbon Street?

TCD

Ya'll are funny!!

We only wandered Bourbon St. for about 10 minutes. A little strange for my tastes (and it was still daylight)!! (No offense Rog!!)

We actually did get some beads and didn't know it till we got home. We bought several things from a shop (I forget where), and there were beads in the bag :cool2:

Big game tonight!

#8 Cincinnati at #21 USF in Tampa!

I say USF will take this one!

Go Bulls!

Got the Gators playing on one channel, the Huskers on another. And neither of them are worth watching so far.

Did you see the way Obama led the team down the field for that last second field goal drive? Tebow himself couldn't have done it better.
