Subscribing!

I was planning a group trip in May but it seems like it will be hard to find a code at that time. So i'm cheating on May and looking at other months in hopes of a better deal. :duck:

March/April are peak season and will be much more expensive and much more crowded than May. If I had the option, I'd definitely go in May. It's still not too hot and it's between the peak spring break and summer vacation months.

:scratchin I'm torn because peak season (from what mousesavers states) ends in mid april and it seems that over the past few years more specials have been in april compared to may. (I would much rather go in May though!)
:yay:

I guess it depends on when you are talking about in April. The chances of a discount in the first 2 weeks of April are pretty slim since it's the week before and after Easter. The last 2 weeks of April and the first 2 weeks of May would probably be good bets.

Booked yesterday at rack rate of $119 per night. Waiting for AAA to come out with their rates. But would love to get an AP rate for the stay. That may be enough to bump us up to Riverside.

Kris :thumbsup2

we're booked at the as movies very same dates!!!

I have two girls, 16 and 13!! And they are sooo excited. Of course this is their first trip also!! They are into music and of course boys...

Our budget is for a moderate resort...just can't decide which one!!! :confused3

I know this first trip will be magical! pixiedust:

Can't wait in Oklahoma!!

If you want to stay at a Moderate, I would go for the Carribean Beach Resort. MGM has the Tower of Terror and Rock and Roll Rollercoaster, Epcot has the new Soarin and Test Track, and check out Universal, they have some early bird special on their tickets right now. Teenagers tend to like Universal, but I really shouldn't be promoting it, since this is a WDW site.

Have a great time, and everyone loves the MK, no matter how old you are.

I started going to Disney when I was 5 & have now been 6 times. My husband and I have allowed our daughter to take a friend the past two trips, but this trip will be different. My husband thought it would be great for my daughter and I to take our own vacation. We will be going 04/02-04/09/07. A little bonding to be done now that she is 13. We are very excited. I haven't told her the date yet, just that we would be taking a trip. Very excited. We'll be staying at the Movie, I think.
:Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cool1: :woohoo: :bounce:

see you there, my dd, then 13, will be on our trip. we're staying at the movies too!!

Thank You!! :thumbsup2 I am sooo riding the fence on where to stay...I go back and forth from Coronado Springs to Carribean Beach....I just can't decide!!! I know that any of them will be great but it is such a big decision when you have never been!!
My daughters are not big on thrill rides...all I can get them to talk about is the pools and the water parks...anything water...I raised two ducks!! :teeth: But since we were gonna be in the area we did plan on visiting the "other" place too!!

Thank you for the advice - I will take all I can get!!

PS - I couldn't help but notice your Moto Cross Matt pic - I am good friends and co-worker of a proud father - his son is planning on being the 2009-2010ish National Moto Champ, he just signed his first contract with a major company this week!!! Maybe it is Arena Cross - not sure - but sure is a small world - cause that all I heard/talked about at work for weeks now!!! Google Colton Nichols! Congrads Matt!!!! :woohoo:

Thanks again!
Counting down in Oklahoma!! :hourglass

Subscribing. I'm sure there is little or no chance of a discount since our spring break is the week after Easter but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed .. ..

If your girls love swimming I would go with the Carribean Resort. Coronado does have a neat pool, but the Carribean is centered more for swimming, more pools, slides, etc., you probably want to go to the Water Parks on Premsis, like Typhoone Lagoon, or Blizzard beach, it would be an add-on to your tickets.

I asked my Matt about Colton Nichols and he will look him up My oldest sons is a roommate with the son of the owners of Parts Unlimited, and his roommates grandpa owns Thor and Fox. The FOX is the company that makes all the clothes. My son doesn't have any major sponsors, but he does receive all his riding clothes from Thor and FOX, so we sort of have a major sponsor, but it would be nice to be riding for a major sponsor like Colton just got. Moto-cross is an expensive sport, especially with the gas prices this past year.

We're going in April also. The 7-14 and I got the AAA discount on the package for now. Still trying to decide if we are going to the dining plan or not. Any opinions on the dining plan? We are staying at POFQ. Our first time there. I was waiting to see if a code comes out, but I'm not holding my breath because it is the holiday that week. I'm at least happy to get the AAA discount. My AAA agent was very friendly and helpful.

See you there.

I'm doing the dining plan, I pretty much have my itinerary and we will be staying mostly on-site and eating on site so I am coming out ahead by getting the dining plan. You also get a free-round of mini-golf, extra time on the speedboats if you rent for an hour you get a 1/2 free and 1 voucher for Planet Hollywood, which I can't fit into my itinerary. My 180 out is Oct. 6, I can't wait to call for my ADR's.

trying to decide if we want to go during our Spring break this year. March 10 - 17, i think!

Is it usually crowded? Do a lot of schools have spring break that early?

I adore the DDP because eating out is a big part of my vacation. You can easily spend $38 at just one sit down meal so the meal plan is very worth it. Plus gratuity is included so the waitstaff are very helpful in telling you about add ons that come with the plan, such as chicken to a dish or a smoothier or coffee.
