AI was in High Point, NC filming Fantasia last week. She went to an elementary school for a surprise visit. She was interviewed a lot for local TV and radio shows. I wonder if they will air their visits to their home towns tomorrow night.

Fantasia said that she has been offered many recording contracts since she was 14 years old. She didn't feel like they were good contracts and she was so young that she turned them down. She sounds like a smart woman. I can't believe she is only 19 years old.

I wasn't really looking forward to tonight since I really don't like Fantasia and Diana. The only person left that I like is Jasmine. But I admit that there were some voted off before her that were better. I do think she is better than Fantasia's screeching and Diana's screaming, and definitely not annoying like them personality wise.

Of course I wasn't surprised when Fantasia's yea yea's got her all that praise. What's the point of even having a competition if they're so honored to be in her presence and they would already sign her right now? Simon even pointed out that she was standing in front of the words "American Idol" and said that she had the worst performance ever, obviously to show that he wants her to get sympathy votes. I would laugh so hard if she was the one to get voted off tomorrow, but I really think that Diana needs to go first.

I agree with the judges that Diana's screaming is quite annoying, and that's what she does when she sings, yet people seem to like it. I really hope the fact that Simon said she just got her spot in the final 2 hurts her. Usually when they say something like that, voters think they're automatically safe. I hope that happens, because I want her to be the one to leave tomorrow. She's already got the whole ditzy thing going on. She's blonde and is already dressing to show more cleavage. In a few years we would just have another Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera, do we really want someone like that?

Jasmine I thought was good, not the greatest performances, but good. I like her voice and she definitely doesn't scream too much which I like. I hope the fact that Simon was harsh on her again helps her, because I really want to see her in the final 2. She's the only one that I will be voting for tonight.

Ok, don't laugh at me but I hit redial for the whole 2 hours while watching 24 and Law & Order and got in a total of 491 votes for Diana. I'm such a geek.

And this is coming from someone who bashed Diana the first weeks but she just grew on me and I really like the little pageant princess now. More importantly that girl can really sing.

HaHa, don't feel bad, i completely did the same thing for Diana! Except I only got through about ten times!

I thought Diana did a phenomenal job on her last song; however, I agreed with Simon on her first song. She was screaming it. In the end, I just think Fantasia was the best overall. I have not always been a huge fan of hers, but she was really great tonight. When Clive said the name of the song he chose for her, I thought "oh no, that is not a good song for her". I was wrong. I thought she did a great job. I voted for Fantasia. I really hope the final 2 will be Fantasia & Diana. I think Jasmine is a very talented young girl, I just think she is way out of her league with these 2 (JMHO).

It will be interesting to see how it plays out tomorrow night. We tried to vote for Diana all night, but only got busy signals. I guess it all depends on where you call from if you can get through or not.

Don't worry, I'm not laughing. In fact, this is what bothers me the MOST about this competition -- that people actually vote more than once for someone.

And to vote 491 TIMES???? That's not geeky -- thats RIDICULOUS!

While many people may not like Fantasia's attitude or personality, she is clearly the best singer in the competition. People should be voting based on that.

I voted for Diana the whole 2 hours and got many many busy signals but probably still got through at least 100 times. I didn't count them!

My DD begged me to vote for Jasmine so I voted for her before my DD went to bed maybe 5 times.

As far as whose the best singer, that's a matter of opinion. Fantasia stinks IMHO.

Oh and did you see that we will be able to vote for 4 hours next week?? I'm going to be so tired the following morning!!!

Does anyone else think the judges made crappy song choices for Diana and Jasmine? Apparently Simon was the only one who picked a song that flattered his singer. UGH

I agree that people should be voting based on who is the best singer, however people disagree who the best singer is. I don't see that Fantasia "clearly" is the best singer. Quite honestly, I think Diana has a better voice.

ITA!!! and I said the exact same thing when I heard the song choices last night!

Fantasia's voice is horrible, imho. I have not enjoyed ANY of her singing during this entire competiton.

My thoughts exactly. I don't feel she is clearly the best singer. I like diana much better.

I agree and that's why the teeny-boppers are winning, because who else besides a sixteen year old has time or energy to log hundreds of votes for one person?

I voted once for Fantasia.

I believe even the show producers encourage us to vote as much as possible for whomever we want to win. Why is it so ridiculous?

Fantasia has a habit of sounding like she inhaled helium. I know they've been working with her on it and she's sounded better recently. Diana has a habit of SHOUTING her songs and she too has been getting coaching.

There is no clear cut winner between those two. They are both equal in their different strengths and weaknesses. I just hope Jasmine is voted out. I can't imagine her winning this whole thing. She is not and will never be an American idol.

I voted once for Fantasia.

I'm 38 and I voted as much as I could in those 2 hours as that is what the show encourages us to do! I do not vote the entire 2 hours until its down to the final 3.

Why do some feel the need to insult others on the way they vote or their opinion on who the best singer is just because they disagree??
