As for pimping Ruben and Fantasia, if people were stupid enough to let the producers of AI rule who they voted for then they deserve who they get. Obviously the "child on stage" didn't work for the people on this board and since it wasn't her idea, believe me, she doesn't have that much power, WHY blame HER???

It looks like there is more DISlike than like on this thread. No fault taken since the performers are nowhere as good as the previous years. Regardless, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion.

Especially when the opinion is from a person who holds a BFA in Theatre, worked and wrote plays on Broadway and has been in the business for 22 years. But what do I know?????

I think I saw it on Entertainment Tonight. He said he's not happy with American right now and that it will be a major upset tonight.

That leads me to believe it will be either Fantasia, George or Jennifer in that order. I just can't imagine it would be La Toya but I guess that's a possibility too. Has La Toya even ever been in the bottom 3? I know Jennifer certainly has and so has Fantasia. Has George?

Sorry but I would not be sad to see anyone go but maybe John and Jasmine. I don't like anyone else. Not like last year anyway. I would be very happy to see Fantasia go!

My personal bottom 3 were John, George and Diana. I thought George did the worst and I usually love his performances. Somehow, I see John sticking around like Josh did last year. He gave horrible performances for the majority of the competition and made it to the final 4.

Fantasia has never been in the bottom three as far as I remember. LaToya has though. The judges were amazed by it, I remember.

I don't think George has, either.

I tell you this much, if John Stevens is the next American Idol, I refuse to watch next years show. I'm sad to hear that we will be disappointed at tonight's outcome. I have a feeling it could be Latoya. I like Latoya. I'll be very upset if she is gone. I don't understand why John Stevens is sticking around. He has no versatility. The judges need to make the determining factor.

This is sick. If I could ever get through, I would be voting for these girls.

Sorry to the fans of the others, but in my opinion those three are the best singers left in the competition. I like George, I like Diana, but those three women are awesome.

I can't believe it! Those three should have been the top three. It is pretty obvious that they need to re-examine the way voting is done. It would be much fairer if only one vote per contestant could be made from a single phone number. If this keeps up, I won't be watching next season.

First of all, I must say how SHOCKED and UPSET I am that Jennifer is gone. She was consistently fantastic, IMO. I'm surprised Fantasia was in the bottom three; even though I don't like her, I know a lot of people do. I only caught the last two minutes, so I didn't see who the other bottom three person was, can someone tell me? I got the impression it was either my Johnny or George, because they both looked so upset at Jennifer leaving, but George was crying, for Pete's sake!

I was very surprised...I have to say I thought the people who turned out to be the "bottom three" would have been the "top three."
I have no idea how the voting works...people must just have chosen a favorite and kept voting no matter how well or poorly they sing?

The only thing I can predict is that the winner will be female. Safe bet, huh?

Well, I wasn't shocked by Jennifer as she's been in the bottom 3 a few times so I really thought it would be Fantasia or George or La Toya.

I was shocked, though, by the bottom 3!! Wow, I'm really surprised by that. I also didn't like what they did with George and having him go to the group with the most number of votes and then tell him he went to the wrong group.

Regardess of what happens this year, I'll still watch. This show is great family entertainment and my DDs LOVE it.

Fantasia is not a favorite of mine but this is just my own personal taste. I recognize that she has talent and so does Jennifer. There are others that have much less talent and yet they go on and on...

Facial expressions or whatever, Jennifer should not have been the next to go IMO!

Bottom three LaToya, Fantasia, and Jennifer

You could see it in John's face. He knows that he SHOULD have gone home tonight. Don't know why so many people think he's better than either of those wonderful ladies.
