I have a lot of tips to offer about diney (i've been 28 times and still counting) so i would like to help others.


So if nyone has any questions please feel free to ask!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know if POP has any ice machines near the resort rooms?

sry, no i've never stayed there but i would say no because disney resorts usually don't have ice machines

I don't personally know where the Pop's are, however.

I thought I had seen an ice machine at AKL two years ago. I looked while at POP but couldn't seem to find them last year. Was hoping someone could tell me where to look at POP. But thank you for letting me know they are there somewhere!

True, right around the corner from the elevators on each floor. I thought that was where ice machines were at all the resorts. I know they were at the All Stars, POP, POFQ, CBR, CSR, Wilderness Lodge and AKL.

This is not true, we stayed at WL, and they were by the elevators!

I have not stayed at POP but there are ice machines at the moderate resorts near the vending machines and elevators.

I've stayed at POP and the ice machine I used was by the second floor elevator area in an alcove - 50's building.

They were at the Contemporary when I was there. DD broke her ankle on that trip jumping the last 3 steps down stairs (lesson learned ), I distinctly remember getting the ice, then calling down to the front desk to find a doctor.

And for the pp, as others have said, yes they are at pop, by the elevators.

What should we do in the morning?
Our first day we are going to AK, second day, MK, Third day,Epcot, 4th day, hanging out at the resort and Hollywood Studios.
So I am not sure what to do the last day. Any suggestions?

SSR does have ice machines! We stayed in the "Spring"s section and they had them there at least, I would venture to say that if one section has them... they all would. I am going to guess that all WDW Resorts would have them, even "mom and pop" type places do, chains do, so I imagine WDW Resorts do.

I am absolutely NOT an expert.

But everything I've read says that DME will expect you to be on a bus 3 hours before your flight. So I'm guessing you'll want to be somewhere at rope drop, and then back to your resort.

I think we're planning on the Magic Kingdom. Some alternatives might be a nice breakfast (Chef Mickey's or Lilo and Stitch at O'hanas??) or DDT for some last minute souviners.

Have you tried the goofy golf at DW? Not quite sure what time they open. I think we may give it a try this year.
