What is "Goofy Golf", it sounds interesting?! :goodvibes

Sorry! We have always referred to it as goofy golf but I think most people call it minitature golf or putt-putt golf. Disney has two "goofy golf" locations. They are called Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Both have very cute themes! Fantasia's description from DW is: Play as hippos dance, fountains leap and broomsticks march, and enjoy interactive obstacles inspired by memorable scenes from Disney's classic animated feature film "Fantasia." It's a Golfing Fantasy! Winter Summerland's (this is the one we are going to try) description from DW is: Ski on over to this course that, Disney Legend has it, is the off-season resort destination of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Built by elves, pint-sized fun is abundant in the two offerings: the Snow course and the Sand course.
I just think it would be lots of fun!

I AM 100% OSITIVE THEIR ARE NO ICE MACHINS AT DELUX RESORTS!!!!!!!!

Now, any more questions that I can answer??????

There are ice machines at SSR. I believe they are next to rooms that end in the number 57...or maybe it was 52. Either way, theres definately ice there. We used it everyday!

We used it almost daily when we were there last year. We were on the Concierge floor if that made any difference.....

The day you leave you will have to get on the ME 3 hours prior to flight time. That'd mean noon if you leave at 3. I think that would leave plenty of time to have a Character breakfast, maybe Cape May or Chef Mickey.

Ice Machine - they do have them at Boardwalk and Beach Club. Maybe not in Villas since they have kitchens but they are right by the elevator in both resorts. We've used them regularly at both resorts.

The Villas also have ice machines - they are out by the bus stops or by the pools.

Every Disney Resort has ice machines. Enough said :rotfl2:

From the Beach Club Resort Information Page:

"Ice machines are behind the main elevators on each floor and by the single elevator on the 1st and 4th floors. Soda machines are located near the quiet pool".

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think I am 100% Positive that there are ice machines at the Beach Club DELUXE Resort.

We are going to AKL in October. Our first full day will be Friday 3rd which we planned on going to MK for the full day, but I think that there is a MNSSHP that night.

Do they have a different firework display for MNSSHP than on reqular days.

Also do they have to close the park part way through the day so that only the people with the halloween tickets can be here at night.

If they do close the park etc does any-one know roughly what time they close and re-open?

There are different fireworks for MNSSHP but I do believe that they still do the regular ones at park close. The park closes at 7pm for non party ticket holders.

We are going on our first trip to WDW late Aug (wow, this month!) :woohoo: and are using ME. Our departing flight is at 4pm, meaning be at ME by 1pm. Dh made a reservation at Akershus (DD loves the princesses!) for 11:30am. Is this enough time or should we try to change that reservation?

I would try to get it earlier. I've never eaten there, but I would think it would take at least an hour, which only gives you 30 minutes to get back to your resort, collect any bags stored (unless you precheck them for your flight...my airline didn't so we had to store the bags then take them on ME with us).

Either way just getting out of Epcot could take 20 minutes, then waiting for the bus, then the bus ride...you could get a cab, but that is still cutting it really close.

Do you know if POP has any ice machines near the resort rooms?

They have one on each floor-maybe even more than one per floor(I never checked for others once I found the one near me), but def one on each floor.:)
