I kept tuning to the DVC channel on my last two trips to WDW (AKL and WL), which must be an early warning sign that DVC membership is calling!
My offer for VWL was just accepted, paperwork and downpayment check are sent - Hopefully, Disney won't covet this one! I keep grinning, knowing that I will have a permanent home in my favorite alternate reality.
My thanks to all of you in this Forum, for your generosity of information and advice and for the feeling of "family" that permeates your posts. I wouldn't have had the courage to act so quickly without everything that I learned from you.
One question - The 2003 points will be banked for my August use-year. I understand that I can't use them before August - can I make reservations to use them before August?

Since the 2003 points are banked they cn only be used for trips from Aug 1, 2004 - July 31, 2005. (You can reserve 11 months out for VWL and 7 months elsewhere, the point usage is bsed on stay date not ressie date)

If you can't wait and want to go pre-August, you can borrow from your 2004 points. Realize it is a symantics issue. What it does it limit how many points you could bank in 2004.

Be sure you hve them used your banks points first when making 2004 ressies as points can only be banked once.

Yup. You were hooked while you were sitting there repeatedly watching the DVC channel. I have owned a couple of years now and I still keep watching that channel. I love it.
