Off topic: Ripley's Aquarium

I have some Questions

We tried to buy tickets online, but almost all time slots are gone...just curious if we just walk in, how long would be the wait if we get there before 9am? 1 hour+ ?

If you go to Ripley's Facebook page, they post updates quite often to let people know how long line-ups are.

We have not been there yet. From what I see posted on Facebook, it's still very busy there. When we do go, I plan for our family to be there right at opening!

I'm disappointed that I cannot purchase "anytime" tickets online however.

Walked by the aquarium yesterday @ approximately 1:30 p.m. and the lineup wrapped all the way around the building! It was crazy!

I've only been to Ripley's Aquariums in other cities.....

Both times we were very disappointed. The cost of admission does not at all reflect the quality and quantity of exhibits.

I would not stand in line to get in.

We've visited twice and bought annual passes on our past visit. We thought it was EXCELLENT and are looking forward to visiting many times over the next year.

In our experience, if there are no timed tickets available, you will stand in line for about 2 hours. The line is almost entirely outside, so dress appropriately. One of the benefits of the annual pass is that you bypass the line every time.

We went on a Saturday night in early December for my nephew's birthday. We arrived after dinner, around 6 or 7pm if I'm remembering correctly, and waited about 20 minutes to buy tickets and enter. It was crowded, but not insanely so.

We went to Ripley's aquarium today (Friday). We arrived around 10:30am. I'm not sure how long the ticket line up was (we bought online), but since it was all inside, I don't think it was too long. The aquarium was busy, but not packed. There were lots of school groups.
