Off Topic Regarding jacksonville florida

Hey everyone i dont know if there is anyone here that lives in Jacksonville, FL that can help me but by mom has just moved to Yulee which is just north of Jacksonville. She is asking for my help in getting cable and internet service but since i am in Arkansas i dont really know where to start. Does anyone have an idea as to which companies are available there so i can look up the plans for her. And if anyone has had any good or bad experience with them. I know this is not disney related but i dont visit any of the other boards. Thanks so much for your help.

We have comcast... until recently they were really the only options. Never really been happy with the service but I guess it could be worse. We have ATT phones and have been happy so far, but don't have any experience with uverse.

It depends on the neighborhood. Not all companies are availalbe in all locations around town. Our old house we could get all AT&T except internet (dailup only!), but everything from Comcrap, in our new house we can get everything from Comcrap or AT&T including internet, but we cannot get Verizon FIOS or AT&T Uverse yet, but other neighborhoods nearby can get any of them.

ETA: If you go onto the websites for the various companies you can generally put in the address of the house/appartment/condo and they'll tell you if they service that location or not.

Yulee, on the other hand, is pretty rural and probably has a much more limited selection available.
