(I can't find Briar's thread, sorry Mods)
Let's start with the disclaimer. I am in no way trying to flame anyone, scare anyone, clog anyone's major arteries, cause a de-synchronization your pituitary gland, etc, etc, etc.
One of my threads was recently closed, and I'm not mad or depressed or in an advanced state of shock or anything, but I think we need a little reminder of something.
The DISBoards are a great place. They are very generous in giving enough room for 120 Private Messages, for free! Other sites make you pay to hold even less than that much. The point of me saying this is to let you know that the Private Messaging system are for, well, personal conversations. Personal conversations should not be held in public.
Off-topic posts are self explanatory, if you want to start a new conversation, start a new thread. Of course, if there's already a thread similar to one you want to post, add onto that thread instead of posting a similar one. Who knows, you might start a riveting conversation and make a lot of new friends!
If you're new here, we're not mad. Brush up on your Message Board Etiquette with LoriR's and WebmasterKelsie's threads stickied at the top of this page. Also, try to find BriarLori's thread on bumping up old topics.
Let's keep the DIS VMK Boards lock-free
