Off tonight!!!!

As the title says, we travel tonight to the Magic, for DS's 10th birthday trip.
Feels a little odd as we only went in December but that was a special trip when we took Nana and stayed in a hotel (it was a belated 70th birthday trip for her). It was all very different, and we promised DS we would return for his birthday in the camper.

Weather forecasts are a bit mixed. I'm hoping its okay - I got hyperthermia last time! Going to packs lots of warm clothes, and some wine...

Wrap up very well -- It's -1° atm and we are expecting light snow and rain. The feel like temperatures are -3/4°

Tomorrow should be warmer and dry and the weekend looks ok.

Hope it's not too cold, maybe a bit late to say but see those pain killing heat pads you can get for backs....well they stay warm all day....seriously it's like having a hot water bottle for 14/16hrs a day!!!!!You could strap a couple on

Back late last night after an awesome trip!!!

Highs
Pretty much everything!!!
Weather was much better than expected - 8-9degrees, clear blue skies a lot of time, NO RAIN!!!! I bundled up well and had no problems,
DS wore a big birthday badge and got loads of attention - Capt Jack got the crowd to sing Happy birthday at a meet and greet, several CMs sang to him, we went to City Hall and he got his phone call from Mickey, and Cafe Mickey was fab - everyone sang and Mickey brought his cake (which we are still eating - it's huge!!!) and he got a lovely surprise from City Hall at the end of the day

Lows
Very little.
We promised DS some chips for lunch on Saturday, and queued for 30 mins at Videopolis, then nowhere to sit down!
Park was very busy on Sat. Our APs were rejected when we went in, and I panicked that I had somehow missed a blackout day, but turned out it was just a glitch on the machine, however CM then didn't put them through properly so when I tried to get fastpasses for BTM (after queuing for 20 mins) it issued a ticket which said "this ticket is invalid"!! Thankfully I looked at them (oftern I just stick them in my pocket), and asked the CM who just gave us 2 more.

Proper TR to follow, but the magic was definately there for us.

It was brilliant, and DS loved it. We are all very tired now but enjoyed it. I estimate we walked 12 miles on Saturday, so no wonder ds slept like a log!

How was the car park?? lol We had a great time in december when we went with our van, Have they turned the water and toilet disposal back on now?

Car park home was fine nahteb20. Things weren't back on, prob not til March but we went prepared. We sat in the van and had a great view of Dreams on Friday night in the warm.

Only problem in car park was on Sat morning they let cars in at 9.30 -they were just swarming in trying to get as close to the park as possible paying no attention to the vehicles already there, never mind the people! We'd seen this before - that's why we'd never leave the steps down as they might get knocked off!
