Off to Gatwick today

Well, DH and I are off to Gatwick today around 5PM. We're heading down to meet with DMIL and do twilight check in. I'm bringing my laptop, so will post at some point either later today or tomorrow. We're heading out tomorrow on VS27. If I make it till 2 PM when the cat sitter arrives it will be a miracle. Have woken up with fairly bad lower back pain. Guess I have over done it with the cleaning. Going to soak for awhile in a pretty hot tub and gradually loosen it up, I'm sure it will be fine a bit later.

Anyway hope that everyone going soon has a wonderful trip. Got my poncho packed for the lovely weather being forecasted. I know every day in September it rains a bit in the afternoon, but the forecast on weather.com just looks silly. It makes you feel like it will rain all day till you remember what it's been like every other September.

You must feel so excited. I would appreciate any airport info you may get from Gatwick regarding the security restrictions, how busy the airport was, how strict with the hand luggage size etc. We are flying on the 19th Sept from Gatwick so any info would be great.

Hope your back feels better soon and don't worry about the weather, it will be fine.
