This year we have decided to eat off site more, any favourite resturants? Going to try and do a little planning soon. Need to book 2 character breakfasts, plan in 2 MVMCP (tickets purchased but need to arrange the days around them) and have just booked a 3 night night cruise in the middle of the holiday. Usually at 180 day mark everything is planned, this year havent done a thing. Hope I can get 2 character meals on monday!

offsite our favorite restaurant is Sweet Tomatoes (near Wet and Wild)..

we also like Olive Garden, but the one we eat at the most offisite is Sweet Tomatoes

Some of our favourites include:

  • Norman's at the Ritz-Carlton
  • David's Club at the Omni Championsgate
  • Orlando Ale House, multiple locations
  • The Capital Grille, Pointe Orlando
  • Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe at Pointe Orlando
  • Brio Tuscan Grille, Mall at Millenia
  • Cheesecake Factory, Mall at Millenia
  • Ruth's Chris, Sand Lake Road
  • Old Hickory Steakhouse, Gaylord Palms
  • Hard Rock Cafe, CityWalk
  • Margaritaville, CityWalk
  • Seasons 52, Sand Lake Road
  • Texas de Brazil, I-Drive (we've only eaten there once, but I'd still recommend it for a different and high quality experience)
  • Cala Bella, Rosen Shingle Creek

We're also looking forward to trying these for the first time in November:

  • The Oceanaire at Pointe Orlando
  • A Land Remembered at Rosen Shingle Creek
  • Village Tavern near Mall at Millenia
  • Cuba Libre, Pointe Orlando
  • Roy's, Sand Lake Road

i've only eaten at Brio of the above, but liked it a lot...

Texas Roadhouse
Mimi's Cafe
Orlando Ale House
Sweet Tomatoes
Black Angus Steakhouse
Olive Garden

If we want somewhere quick
Ponderosa, only because we know owner, food can be mixed.
Golden Corral
Cici's Pizza

Maybe try this visit but never enough time.
Tony Romas
Bahama Breeze
Manny's Chophouse
Villa de Flora
Cheesecake Factory
Chilis

We love Hard Rock Cafe and Bubba Gump at CityWalk and House of Blues at DTD.

We also enjoyed eating at Red Lobster.

Joe's Crab Shack had great crab and a cool theme.

Looking forward to trying some of the other suggestions others have made.

Bahama Breeze
Friday's
Golden Coral
Olive Garden
Denny's
Houlihan's
Chilli's
Bennigans
All on I-Drive.x.

We enjoy :)

Bahama Breeze
Cheesecake Factory (although not been to the one in Orlando yet)
TGI (DD loves it here for some reason)
Pizza at Giordanos (sorry can never remember the spelling)

Cheesecake Factory (the incredible grilled eggplant sandwich was my bf's favourite restaurant meal ever!), Sweet Tomatoes, Fuddruckers (amazing burgers, it's sort of tucked away in the Festival Bay mall so I don't think it ever gets that busy but it's well worth a visit IMO), IHOP (yummy breakfasts!)
Bahama Breeze always gets amazing reviews, i'm determined to try it next time! There's one in Vegas but I don't think we'll get round to it as we'll probably be at the casino buffets all the time!

Theres also a Sweet Tomatoes in Vegas which we love but once we got into the buffets there was no chance of us going looking for it. We had Sunday Brunch in The Bellagio, about $24 each but the best buffet I have ever had, 88 chefs preparing food, sushi, steak, full English brekfast, don't know how many roast meats, Italian, chinese, Almost didn't leave room for dessert(still managed 2 though as you can see from pic below), took 2 hours to eat there:rotfl2:
MGM and Luxor were also good, didn't enjoy Flamingo as much.

I think I just died and went to dessert heaven! The Bellagio one is definitely on the list, probably the Wynn aswell :)

Is this the 1st pic you have seen of me? thought you would have seen one before now.
I was really suprised to enjoy Vegas as we rarely drink or gamble, my Brother goes every 2-3 months, just having a 5 bed house built there. He convinced me to try it.
Bellagio is probably the best lunch I have ever had, sat on edge of CG probably the best location I have ever eaten lunch.

This was my view eating lunch, feet hanging over the edge.:scared1: :rotfl2:

Guys, I know the OP asked for offsite restaurants, but isn't the Bellagio a bit far? :rotfl2:

Another vote for Seasons 52 and the Cheesecake factory... but we prefer the Winter Park branch if you are up that way as it is a bit bigger and not quite as busy usually.

Also Moonfish.

Olive garden
Red Lobster
Crabby Bills
Outback
Perkins for breakfast
If you like Italian foor then you have to try Maggiano's at Pointe Orlando, the foor and service here is outstanding. We had a family meal here 4 adults 1 child, 4 starters, 5 mains, 2 bottles of wine and a childs drink and including the tip it was $198 which we thought was great value for money. Definately worth a visit! http://www.maggianos.com/
