Off site restaurants

Hi:
We will be celebrating my grandson’s 14th birthday this trip and there will be 12 of us. It’s impossible to get a reservation at Disney restaurants, so looking for recommendations offsite. I know there’s Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze and Lone Star. Not looking for Italian. Any recommendations would be great.

The nearby MargaritaVille Resort has a Promenade at Sunset Walk with some great restaurants plus one of the best Game Time Arcades I have ever entered and believe me my son in his 40s has dragged his mother into many during his childhood. They still have a Chuck E Cheese in Orlando…(every year childhoodbirthday party also )
So I know great arcades when I see one .
Plus live entertainment on weekends in center of Sunset Walk .
This is close to the nearby Target .
When Gloria “Estefan Restaurant Kitchen” moved out of Disney Springs this is where she moved.
Fun for everybody plus that arcade is attached to a bar with open window seating . Fun to walk around the MargaritaVille Resort too!

Also Kobe Steakhouse, Giordano's Pizza or maybe Ford's Garage all off of US192 in Kissimmee? ....Sorry, just noticed you mentioned no Italian, so scratch Giordano's.

Fords Garage is in the Sunset Walk and is really nice and great hamburgers.
I have visited the real Fords Garage Museum .

I don't have suggestions for offsite but just wanted to say that its not impossible to get reserations for that many at a Disney restaurant.
When is your trip? Have you tried to get reservations at a Disney restaurant yet?

We are here now. Yes, I have been trying for weeks. I completely forgot that his birthday falls on Mothers Day this year.

Not sure if you're interested but I saw Cape May Cafe has several dinner time reservations on Sunday.
Crystal Palace has a late lunch reservation.
Things pop up all the time so you may be able to get other places if you keep checking.

Thank you. Yes, I keep checking. Hopefully, something that works for the group will become available. I actually called Ford Garage, but they aren’t taking reservations for Sunday.

You can try opentable to find something. This sunday is the busiest restaurant day of the year, Capemay could be a good choice.

As of right now, you can get Bahama Breeze nearby, which is lots of fun. Splitsville has 2:00 or 9:30. Cape May has 8:30. I wouldn’t count an waitlist for that day.
