Hello All!

Doing an orlando vacation split between Disney property and off-site. We switch hotels (and hit discovery cove) on my birthday. Since we'll be out of DC by 6 I figured it's a great night to take the family out for a birthday dinner, and I love oysters.

We're staying near SeaWorld, but am open to driving for a better place.

Any suggestions?

I really do like Lee and Rick's for cheap oysters, but just be aware it is not a "nice take your family out to dinner place" I would eat there on my birthday, just because raw oysters are my favorite thing in the world,I can easily eat 4 dozen, and nobody sells them cheaper, that I am aware of. But the rest of my family is not as enamored. I think the Oceanaire might be a little more celebratory. I've never been to hightide harry's.

Excellent! Much nicer places than the ones google gave me. Great menu options, I think everyone will be happy! Thanks so much.

MY DH always gets Oysters at Orlando Ale house - sometimes known as Miller's Ale House. There's a number of them in the area.
We usually eat there once every trip.

Millers ale house, right outside WDW at route 535 and Palm Parkway. Not the best but cheap, probably gulf oysters. Big Fin seafood restaurant on West Sand Lake is high end, offering a variety of oysters from around the country, they are sold by the piece, expensive but good.
