Me and my parents will be in Disneyland on Jan 25th-31st. My mom and me both have bad knees. My mom had a Honda 50 fall on her when she was my age, and has had bad knees since then. I fell face first down stairs off an 8ft. platform in my college theatre. My dad has sciatica in his legs. So walking for long periods of time is not so good for us. lol. Renting scooters on site is too expensive.

Does anybody know of a good off site scooter rental company that is inexpensive. The price to beat is $247 (Disney on site $35 a day, 7 days).

I just came back, the week before Thanksgiving. I rented from Randy's Mobility. www.randysmobility.com. They delivered and picked up the scooter..to my hotel. It was $180 for 7 days. Maybe if you say you are renting 3 he will give you a discount. Would not hurt to ask.
I know there are other sites, mentioned in the FAQ's. But I will give a vote for Randy's.

The OP said "Disneyland". If that's what she meant, she should check the Disneyland boards here on the DIS for suggestions (I just double-checked the FAQ, quickly, and didn't see anything). The company NOT to rent from in California is one that starts with an "A". I think the recommmended company starts with a "C". Something to do with quality and service :)

I noticed they're in Florida.... Are they in Califorina as well? (I'm going to DL)

Good catch, Kaytee. Did not even notice.

No, none of the companies exist in both locations. Well, technically - Scootaround (see the disABILITIES FAQ) is sort of a clearinghouse for ECV rentals. They should be able to hook you up with something in Anaheim. But, again - check/ask on the Disneyland board here, and try your darnedest to avoid a company named for a person and starting with an A. Too many complaints.

I take it you can't remember the exact name of the company to avoid, just that it starts with an 'A' :rotfl2:

Here is a link to another board which has had a recent discussion (see the later posts) with a recommendation.
