I need an off-site place to stay that is also pet friendly. Any suggestions? This is our first trip ever to WDW and originally planned on staying on site but my oldest DD decided at last minute she will be joining us so we need the extra room being that we will be a group of 8 now. I have tried searching on my own but really don't know where to start. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could still stay onsite. Board your pet at Best Friends (across the street from Port Orleans Riverside (POR) and book two rooms at a value resort or moderate resort (like POR). Then you can use Disney transportation to the parks and to/from the airport.

When we stay off property we tend to stay at the LQ convention center. It is 10-15 min to WDW and is pet friendly. The prices are pretty reasonable most times of the year.

If you board your pet at the kennel mentioned in the pp...Then my recommendation is Staybridge Suites LBV. I LOVE this place. The 2 bedroom unit sleeps 8 and I believe they will even give you a roll away bed to allow in case 2 of them don't want to sleep together on the pull-out. There are 2 bathrooms...a living room - a small kitchen and, best of all a FREE, HOT breakfast (eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee). So for 8 people - the savings on that meal alone is HUGE. I have gotten the 2 bedroom for as low as $75 a night...but that was several years ago. You can find deals for $100 - $110 which is still a great savings when you factor in the breakfast savings.

The pool is very nice, laundry setup is very clean, staff is friendly and location is AWESOME...You're to the DTD gate of WDW property in about 3 minutes.

I prefer this to a condo...having that breakfast made for me and the beds and towels changed every day makes me still feel like I'm on vacation.
