I am in the process of planning my second trip with my daughter. I was going to go to an off site hotel and rent a car for my husband to drop us off in the park for the 2 days. He really doesn't want to go into the park again. Then I thought I would get a room in a value resort and forget the rented car until the last day when we drive to Fort lauderdale to leave on a cruise. I really just need a clean bed and shower, if we have time a pool. I didn't know which is easier since I'll be doing the park with her alone. How easy is it for someone to get dropped off at the park???? Is is worth the extra $$$ and easier on site??? Even balancing out not renting a car for 3 day it is extra for the on site place. I am confused.

My suggestion is to stay on-site at one of the value resorts, take DME from
the airport and use the WDW transportation to get to the parks. You could
rent a car to take you to Ft. Lauderdale from WDW and that one way trip
shouldn't cost you too much. There are car rentals on WDW property and
guest relations anywhere can help you with that, or go to the "transportation"
board for more info.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! Have a blast! :thumbsup2
