Off site option for DVC member

We are a family of 7 that is looking to book a week at an off site resort just to see how they compare and to save points for a larger rental every other year. What place do you recommend and why? I have seen Bonnet Creek and a couple of others mentioned. We want to be within 5-10 minutes of parks. Thanks for your help!

For being close to the parks, I would say Wyndham Bonnet Creek. There's a free shuttle, Disney resort TV, and a Disney Cast Member in the lobby that sells tickets.

With a family that size, you may want to check out renting a vacation home.
