I am returning to Disney (after two years). I planned my first vacation on these boards and was quite happy. However, I will be traveling with relatives. Kids and grandparents and cousins. The grandparents want to spend all their time on beachfront property and we will stay with them but do Disney also. Any ideas where to stay on the bay side and not a bad commute to Disney. Thanks/.

Daytona Beach is where I like to visit. It's fun and loads of stuff to do. Nice places to eat and to shop or just hang out by the beach. You can still drive on cert. parts of the strip so you can rent ATV's to drive up and down and stop and eat. It's a ton of fun and most will fit 4 people at the time. THere's a boardwalk with acarde on the beach front and Adventure Landing to rent go karts and water slides, putt putt is there too. That's just one of many play parks that comes to mind. If you want quiet and uncrowded stay in the shores area, or Ponce Inlet. The Hilton is shores area. There is no driving on the beach there. And don't plan on getting a room June 30th- July 7th there having the Pepsi 400 Nascar race and everything is sold out. Have a great time.
