so i've had this thought in my head and even though i've let people know and have been told no, the thought is still lingering in there.. I was wondering if anyone who has ever had a Disney-themed wedding ceremony and reception outside of Disney World and may have looked into or actually gotten Mickey & Minnie costume characters come to "visit" the reception for a short period?? I thought this would be a fun idea, however, when i suggested it to my fiancee and sister (maid of honor), they said it was crazy and told me not to do it. I've found a site on the internet when they can send you Mickey & Minnie look-a-like costumes but you just have to find someone to wear them. Has anyone else ever thought of or done this??? Since we can't afford to have our wedding in WDW and I LOVE disney (my fiancee doesn't love it so much!), I thought this might be a fun idea...

Were they able to show you what the costume looks like?

I would pass it up if it doesnt look like a good knock off.

You should be able to have a fabulous disney themed wedding even if you dont have the characters.

Are there alot of kids going??

they did show pictures of the costumes. they weren't exact but they were pretty nice and you can definitely tell who/what they are. we aren't having any children at all coming to the reception so it will be adults only.. i just love mickey and minnie so much i thought it'd be a cute idea to have them a part of it... i guess i just will have to get my fix and be happy when we're there in December and take as many pictures as we possibly can while we're at WDW!!
