Off Site in March FP+ question

So, I am cool with waiting till we get to a park to make our FP+ reservations for that afternoon. My question is this: what if we need to change a time or attraction? I understand there's a mobile app, but can those off site use it to change their FP+ or only on site guests? I'd hate to have to hunt down a kiosk again after making the FP+ choices.

Still very unhappy with only getting 3 at one park. We used to hop a lot, but unless I get an AP this trip (may take another one late summer) we will get base tickets this trip.

We are offsite in March with No expiration tickets. They are linked to us in MDE and I have made a dinner ADR. I have no idea how to tell MDE when I will be at the park so it will let me make FP+ choices. If nothing else there is always the RD strategy but I thought it might be nice to sleep in until 7 am or so for once. How are AP people able to make choices in advance?

We're not RD types! We usually don't go all day either - DD has stamina issues.

I just wonder if you get there and make your FP+ selection, can you get an app to link your tix to ahead of time (I guess you'd have to?) to make changes while at the park. I'm worried something may come up and we'd need to push something back to a later time.

I really feel bad for visitors who are going and have no clue about any of this!

At this point, AP can only make advance reservations if they have an on-site hotel reservation!

It looks like FP+ will be available in April for all guests. Before then, off site guests need to go to kiosk to make FP+ reservations. If you need to make changes, you have to go to the kiosk.

If you aren't a rope drop family, FP+ will work great because you can get the later return times at the kiosk.
