Im visiting Universal in June and I'm looking for a hotel close to Universal but I am so overwhelmed by all the choices. Im not sure yet if Im going to rent a car so being close to the parks would be a help. I could use all the suggestions I can get. Thank you!!!!!

If you absolutely don't want to stay onsite, then the closest two hotels are across the street from the entrance, with a walking path leading to Citywalk (the entrance plaza to the parks). These are a Doubletree and a Holiday Inn. I think the trolley also goes by this location.

I finally picked one....Four Points at Studio City
